FINALE Julie v Candy: Showdown

Day 114

Ashley had just let Sara know that Julie's time was up and that she had informed one of Candy's Hive sisters. Sara and Olivia had a plan in place and sprang into motion. Olivia got changed and grabbed her keys and a sword. Sara changed and the two entered the secret passage.

Once they got into the basement Olivia stopped them at the window leading out.

"What is it?" Sara said.

"Someone is out there, someone that shouldn't be here," Olivia said.

Olivia crept out the window and then carefully helped Sara out. The two crouched by the window as they watched a woman with a tire iron try and pry the lock off of the shed housing the heating and air conditioning machinery for the house. Olivia stalked toward the distracted woman, and Sara followed behind.

Suddenly the latch on the door ripped out and the tire iron went flying out of the woman's hands. She was stunned and Olivia struck. She grabbed the woman and put her in a headlock. Sara quickly ran up to them.

"Who are you? What are you doing?" she said.

Now that they were face to face Sara recognized the woman. She had been fitted with a Master weeks ago but Sara didn't remember seeing her personally. Just the image of her conversion so she would know that the woman was part of the Hive. But both Sara and Olivia sensed that she was a free host and had no Master now.

"I won't let you get me," the woman said gasping. "I'd rather die."

Olivia looked at Sara from behind the woman, "What should we do with her?"

Sara had no idea and no time. She desperately wanted to know how this host had gotten rid of the slug inside of her though. She grabbed the woman's wrist tightly and said, "If you want any chance of getting out of this come with me." Sara opened the door to the shed and pulled her and Olivia in. "Olivia let go of her, close the door, and make sure no one else comes in."

Olivia released the woman and warily watched as the two went deeper into the shed then she closed the door tightly behind them.

The shed was pretty large, it held two large tanks for fuel for the heating system. One was very old and rusty the other was newer but still old. It looked like more machinery had once been in there but as more efficient systems were invented over the decades the space needed for them had shrunk.

Sara pulled the woman as far from the door as she could and released her. "You're Nancy, right? I recognize you. How did you escape? How did you get rid of your Master? I want to get rid of mine too."

Nancy was trembling with fear. She knew Masters were evil and would do anything to enslave anyone who discovered them. "Don't lie to me. I know you just want to find out what I know to prevent it from happening again. You won't fool me." Nancy looked around for a possible weapon.

Knowing that time was of the essence Sara shouted, "Olivia! Olivia!" nothing happened. While keeping an eye on the frantic Nancy Sara went to the door and looked out. Olivia was standing by the house, looking around. Sara waved her over. "What are you doing?"

As Olivia got to the door, she said, "Keeping watch. If I stood by the door and someone noticed they would get curious."

"That's actually pretty smart," Sara said and Olivia smiled. "We need to take her with us. Get the car and drive it over here, then the three of us will go save Julie."

While Olivia got the car Sara went back to Nancy and said, "I can't convince you with words but maybe if you see what we are doing you will believe me. I admit that you can't trust my friend Olivia but I want to free us, all of us. So for now just come with us and don't tell Olivia anything, hopefully, she won't recognize you."

Julie was standing outside the door to the cottage catching her breath. She had run the last mile home flat out and faster than ever before. The point of running wasn't to be in the Boston Marathon, it was to be able to outrun pursuers over short distances. If they found her and she had to escape it would be in a car. But breaking contact and getting to the car was an absolute necessity too. Also being fit and strong helped in other ways, it wouldn't stop a gun but it might save her from someone with a stun gun or a Taser. It only took her half a minute to catch her breath, she looked around the street as she did. It was twilight, it would be completely dark soon. She noticed two or three cars she didn't recognize but that was always the case. People often only stayed for a week or two and then left, there was constant turnover among the cottages on the road. Something to avoid in the future Julie thought. As she walked into the cottage she realized she had just enough time to take a shower before Jake should get off work."Hey there Julie, long time no see." A voice said as she walked over and turned on the floor lamp by the couch.

Julie whipped around as the room was lit up and saw Candy. She was sitting in the chair by the front window. Stun gun in one hand, real gun in the other, and a malevolent smile on her face.

The lack of a rear exit was another thing Julie had learned to avoid in the future, if only she had one now she thought. Candy waived the gun and aimed it at the bed on the far side of the room away from Candy, the front door, the only door, and escape. Julie slowly walked backwards to the bed never taking her eyes off of Candy and her gun.

"What are you doing here? Why do you have a gun?" Playing dumb probably wouldn't get Julie anywhere but it was a way to buy time till Jake got home. With any luck he could surprise his sister or talk her down, somehow, was there any humanity left in her?

"Really? I knew you were stupid but I never thought you were THAT stupid. I'm one of THEM. You know those icky black worms that have taken over your sister and all of your friends, the Masters." Candy said.

"Masters?" Julie said.

"Seriously? You have been running and hiding from them all this time and don't even know what they are called?" Candy chucked and the stun gun bounced in her hand. To Julie's relief, the real gun was held steady. If it went off by accident she couldn't get the image of the bullet coming right at her out of her head.

Candy used the gun to point at the handcuffs lying on the bed, "Put those on." Julie did as Candy said.

"Wow Julie, maybe I have overestimated you," Candy said. "Did you just think these were some mindless things coming after you? No, they want to 'perfect' us, whatever that means. Perfect our bodies I guess," Julie noticed that Candy's boobs were noticeably larger now. "Or perfect our way of life, you know end crime and war and all that bullshit. The fact that they turn people into mind-controlled zombies to do it just seems like a minor side effect to them."

Julie looked at the door, Jake should be home any minute now, she just had to stall Candy a little longer. Candy saw Julie looking at the door and began laughing.

"Do you think Jake will save you bitch? He's going to come in and be your hero or something? Dumb cunt." Candy began laughing again, harder this time, both weapons began bouncing around in her hands as she did.

"Fuck, shit, son of a bitch. It's so fun to swear. Angela is such a good influence on me, I can't remember the last time I let it out like this." Candy said.

Julie didn't know what Candy was talking about and the gun bouncing in her hand terrified Julie. But just a little more time was all she needed.

Candy had opened the window by the door a little so she could hear Julie as she approached. Just then they heard a car door close. A couple of seconds later Candy's phone buzzed. "That must be your hero now. This is gonna be real fun."

Julie tensed, Jake could save her or Candy could hurt Jake too. She seemed overly confident, and Julie had noticed she kept referring to the Masters as they, not we. As she heard Jake walk up the two steps to the cottage door the world seemed to slow down.

Jake walked in and swung the door shut behind him. "Hey babe, I was thinking I'd make dinner tonight," he said. He stopped as he saw Julie sitting on the bed handcuffed. He followed her eyes to Candy who was sitting three feet to his right with a gun and he froze.

"What are you doing here Candy," he said cautiously.

"It's time for this little game of ours to end brother," she said. "I'm here to collect you and make this bitch into a puppet like all the rest. You can even have a little fun in the process. You've been dying to spread those silky white thighs haven't you brother?"

Julie's eyes darted back and forth from Candy to Jake and back again. Candy hadn't so much as glanced at Jake, she had kept her focus entirely on Julie the whole time. And since seeing Candy Jake hadn't moved. With a single step he could close on Candy and take the gun away, but he hadn't shown any interest in trying.

"What are you talking about?" he said. "Why do you have a gun and why is Julie in my cuffs?"

Candy sighed. "I thought this would be more fun, it always was the times I visited you when this cunt wasn't here. Of course, those times ended with me spreading MY thighs."

Julie's jaw dropped, "What do you mean, other times you visited? What's going on here Jake?"

"I have no idea babe, I swear. I don't know what she is talking about."

"Brother, do you love me?" Candy said and Jake stood as still as a statue for a moment before relaxing and looking at Candy with devotion.

Candy began laughing hysterically now. She pointed the stun gun at Julie like a finger. "The look... the look on your face... it's so worth all the time spent in this shithole town."

Candy stopped herself from laughing and got up. Jake stood in place by the door watching her like a puppy watching its owner.

Candy stretched out a hand and put it on Jake's chest, "I've been watching you for weeks now. At first, I thought this place was a little hillbilly shithole, but it has grown on me. Watching you be all lovey dovey with Jake was nauseating but seeing him reject your advances made up for it. I guess you aren't so bad after all. I mean you've been cock blocking my brother for almost a year now. Most other whores would be using him up."

Candy took a few steps towards Julie now as she gloated. "That's right I've been watching you two. And visiting Jake when you are out on your runs, very convenient hobby you picked up. It gave me plenty of time to come over, activate him and fuck for a while."

Julie's eyes bulged as she looked at Jake now. He just looked back, he didn't flinch at Candy's words and showed no shame.

"You did what?" she said.

"Show her you Master brother," Candy said.

Jake turned to face the door and lifted his shirt. As he did she saw a part of his lower back darken to black. An oval black shape was clearly visible, then it faded back to the same tone as the rest of his back. Julie could still see the outline of it now that she knew where and what to look for. Every plan for escape fell apart at that moment, and Julie suddenly felt completely defeated.

"I helped put that on him before you even got it in your head to run away bitch. Masters need sex though or they get out of control. So I had to track you down and come keep him satisfied... if you know what I mean." Candy's giggle grated on Julie's ears but she just looked at the floor now.

"Your old bestie Ashley has it in her head that orgasms are different when you lose your virginity. Especially to someone you care about, or love. Not sure which category my brother fits into for you actually. So she wants Jake to fuck you before I personally give you your new Master so..."

Sara had parked the car several cottages down from Julie's place. The car ride had been very quiet. Sara and Olivia had already talked a lot about what they could do. Nancy refused to say anything to either of them. Olivia sat in the back with Nancy to make sure she didn't try anything.They watched as a car pulled up on the corner two cottages down from Julie's and Candy got out. She walked up to the cottage and unlocked the door with a key, then disappeared inside. Sara had already peeked inside and was pretty sure that no one was home when they first arrived.

"What is she doing?" Olivia said.

"Laying a trap of some sort I think," Sara said.

"Shouldn't we stop her?" Olivia said.

"No, let's wait till Julie gets here, we don't want to spook her."

About an hour later Julie came running up to the cottage like the devil himself were chasing her. Sara and Olivia both tensed and got ready to go and get her. But she stopped at her door and jogged in place for a minute before calmly unlocking the door and going inside.

Sara drove up to the car Candy had gotten out of. The first step of their plan was to make sure Candy couldn't pursue them once they rescued Julie. As Sara stopped in front of the car she saw someone in the driver's seat of the other car.

"Uhh, Olivia?" she said.

Olivia looked at the other driver then turned to Nancy, "Did you see that girl running earlier? That's Julie, I can outrun her. So don't even think of getting out of this car."

Olivia then got out of the backseat and walked over to the passenger side of the other car. The window was open and Olivia stuck her head inside. "Hi, I'm Olivia, what's your name?"

"Fawn" was all she said.

Olivia opened the car door and sat down inside. "Fawn, are you friends with Candy?"

"Yes"

"Has she given you her gift?"

"Yes"

Olivia smiled and said, "So we are on the same team then?"

"I guess," Fawn said.

"Then help us out by getting in the other car, we need to stick together," Olivia said.

"But..."

"Come comrade, we will assist Candy together, we need Julie on our team too."

"Very well," Fawn said and got out of the car. After she did Olivia took the keys out of the ignition and followed. "Get in the front."

Fawn did as she was told and Olivia returned to the back seat with Nancy. "This is Fawn," she announced.

Sara looked at Fawn suspiciously and then back at Olivia.

"Relax, she will come in handy when we go save Julie, trust me." was all Olivia said.

Olivia then said to Fawn, "They have been in there a while now, what is the plan."

"Candy will hold Julie there till Jake arrives then they will convert her together," Fawn said.

"How is she holding Julie?" Sara said.

"She has a stun gun... and a real one."

It had by now gotten dark and when a car pulled up only Fawn recognized the person getting out of the passenger side. As Sara and Olivia watched the car speed away and the figure walk towards Julie's cottage Fawn already had her phone out and was texting Candy. Letting her know that Jake was approaching.

"What are you doing?" Olivia said looking over Fawn's shoulder.

"I just informed Candy that Jake has arrived," she said.

Olivia snatched the phone from Fawn and said, "Get out, you too Sara."

Once outside the car, Olivia said to Fawn, "Get in the back, do not let the free host in there escape, but do not convert her either."

Sara and Olivia then crept up to the cottage. As they neared they heard Candy monologuing inside, As they listened they whispered back and forth about what to do, especially about the gun.

Suddenly Olivia put a finger to Sara's lips quieting her. They heard Candy say, "I personally give you your new Master"

Olivia burst into action then and flung the door open. It slammed into the back of Jake's head and knocked him to the floor.

Candy turned to see what had happened and was stunned to see Olivia at the door. Candy leveled the gun in her direction. Julie had already twisted and pulled one hand free from the handcuffs and lept at Candy. Candy heard this and turned just in time to have Julie grab her by her wrists. The hand with the gun high in the air and the one with the stun gun down at her side.

The two struggled for a few seconds they were eye to eye and Candy leaned in to kiss Julie. Suddenly Julie felt a jolt as the electricity from the stun gun also flowed into her, but not enough to disable her. Julie let go of Candy as quickly as she could and the buxom young woman fell to the floor. Julie found herself face to face with the crooked grin of Olivia.

"Hey Julie, long time no see," Olivia said as she bounced the stun gun she had pulled from Candy's hand in the air.

Julie looked at Candy and Jake, both lying on the floor motionless. Julie was confused as to what had just happened but would never forget that day in the nurse's office. Olivia with a stun gun worried her more than Candy with a real one.

A young woman Julie vaguely recognized from school was at the door now. "Come on, no time to stand around, let's get out of here," she said.

Olivia dropped the stun gun and took Julie's hand, "Come on, we are here to save you." Olivia paused when she felt the handcuff on Julie's wrist. "Do you have the key for those?" she asked.

"Yeah," Julie said as she opened the nearby dresser drawer and fished out the key.

"Perfect," Olivia said as she grabbed the key and took the cuff off of Julie's wrist, she then took Julie by the hand. The two ran out to the car where Nancy and Fawn were waiting.

Julie was in shock, too much had happened too quickly. But just a moment before she had started to let herself give up. Now of all people, Olivia seemed to be here to save her. She didn't trust Olivia but just wanted to get away from Candy and Jake at that moment.

Olivia opened the front passenger door for Julie and said, "Get in," as Sara got in the driver's side. Olivia hopped in the back and quickly put one handcuff on Nancy and the other on Fawn.

Nancy finally spoke, "What's this about?" she said confused. Sara looked back with a questioning look of her own.

"If Nancy runs away she will be stuck with Fawn who will put a Master in her, Nancy doesn't want that. If Fawn runs away Nancy will tell us because she is afraid to be alone with Fawn. Two birds, one set of handcuffs." Olivia said triumphantly.

"Whatever," Sara said as she started the car and drove off.

Julie just sat there in shock. Why had Olivia saved her from Candy? And how long had Jake been one of them?

The first fifteen minutes of the car ride were spent in utter silence. Nancy and Julie were both still in shock. Olivia was as contented with herself as she had ever been. Sara was concentrating on the road and nervously glancing behind her every 30 seconds in fear of pursuit. Fawn sat stonily, not doing or saying anything since no one was talking to her or commanding her to do anything.Finally, Olivia could no longer contain herself and let out a loud whoop. Up front, both Sara and Julie nearly peed themselves at the sudden outburst. Both were so tense they were ready to burst.

Nancy on the other hand had gotten over the shock of being **** by the infected young woman and was ready to find out how much danger she was in.

"You told this one not to convert me. Are you saving me for some special ****?"

"Nah," said Olivia with a grin. "You clearly don't want to rejoin the club so we wouldn't do that to you. It's just that we just met Fawn and don't know if she is ready to spawn or just how eager she is to spawn. So I had to be sure she would hold herself back, at least for the time it took us to rescue Julie."

"You saved her? From what? The police?" Nancy had no idea what was going on at this point.

"We saved her from Candy," Olivia said as her eyes shifted to Fawn. "Candy was going to give Julie her... was going to convert her so we stopped it."

"Why would you prevent another Master from converting a free host?" Nancy said. Having once been a host herself she was already ahead of Julie in understanding just how strange her rescue was.

The break in the silence had snapped Sara out of her nervousness and she now took over. "We wanted to save Julie because she seems to be the only one to have escaped them so far. Ever since the night I was taken, I have been searching for a way to free myself, free all of us. And Julie has become a sort of most wanted among us so I just couldn't let them have her."

Nancy was confused now. "How could you want to be free? You have a Master now, you are **** host."

"My Master was underdeveloped or something. For whatever reason it didn't really take and so I never lost my free will. But surrounded by all the other hosts I knew that if they figured that out they would kill me or put another Master in me. So I kept it to myself... mostly." Sara had stopped checking the rearview and had settled in as they reached the halfway point home.

"Well, I can tell you how I think I was freed..." Nancy began but Julie suddenly cut in. "You were freed from them? How? I didn't think that there was any way to do it. Otherwise, I might have tried to save my sister and mother instead of just running."

"Well, you see..." Nancy told her story and as the group returned to their home town they hatched a plan to try and save everyone.
