What does Kasha do?
Rummage between the cushions
Deciding rest could wait until after she'd found the key, Kasha went down on her knees and shoved her arm between the cushions.
Digging around, she was keenly aware of how soft the cushions were (obviously) but also the fact that they were warm ... and wet...
Before Kasha could extricate herself, she felt the carpet below her begin to rise, as two huge eyes opened on the back of the sofa! This was a mimic!
