Robin makes her way to the castle, disguise intact

"....and that should do it!" Robin muttered to herself as she finished tying the final knot holding the last of her attackers in place. She had bound the half-dozen or so of them by hand and foot, tied to the trees by scraps of a blanket she had cut up. It wasn't exactly the most stalwart of defenses, but it should hold them... at least for a bit.

"Hmm... maybe I should" Robin pondered for a moment, then shrugged. Some extra protection couldn't hurt. She spent a few minutes weaving small enchantments into the ground around them, mostly just lights and illusions meant to look like traps. Robin wasn't exactly great at enchantment magic, but they didn't know that. Hopefully the trickery would slow them down enough that Robin would be done with her business at the castle before they woke.

With that done, she rounded up her horse and righted it with the carriage so that she could set out. The castle wasn't too far from here, from the looks of things, and Robin was ready to get back to the task at hand: assassinating the vile Lord Highwater, second in command to Lady Dieudonne. She would make sure he never got a chance to repeat the atrocities he had already wrought upon the world.

His misdeeds were numerous, more numerous than most-- that was why Robin had targeted him. When a young woman came to her village, telling the tragic story of how Highwater had allowed hellish abominations to run rampant, ravaging and destroying the place, she had been furious. But... knowing that he did such things under perfect immunity from his Lady was even worse.

Robin was so busy grinding her teeth in righteous anger that she was caught off guard when the castle's gatekeeper called out for her to halt. He began to approach, a weak jawed, balding man who mostly just looked tired. "Name and identification, please"

"Robert Haverfiled" she announced. Her best 'guy' voice and a slight bit of magical manipulation made her sound convincingly enough like the young man she was pretending to be. Her contact had been able to construct a persona for her rather well, and after a few moments of speculative staring at the documents Robin handed him, the guard nodded and stepped aside.

"A servant will take your horse into the stable and put up your carriage." He said. Robin dismounted her horse, wordlessly donning her mask. "Have a pleasant evening, sir."

Robin held up a hand as goodbye as she made her way into the castle. The hunt was on.
