Amelia doesn’t realize the weight of her oath yet and that it was always destined to be that way: Both of your lives are interwoven. You pursue your way to support her and she pursues her way to be able to support you. It’s what has saved you as well as what has caged you.

“By the by”, Amelia interrupted your thoughts, “General Marius has asked for you.”

You groan. “This can't be good. So far he hasn't meddled, but Lilleth said that he might.”

“You don’t know that yet, forbidden love.”, Amelia responded.

“Yes, I do. And so do you.”

A bit of silence followed. You both realize, that the moment was over.

“Anyways, I think I’m gonna leave you to it now. Thanks, Tarian.” Your forbidden love looks into your eyes. It’s been years, since you’ve seen her so mellow. She gives you a last hug and gets up. "Since you've never been there, you can find Marius' office on the upper levels of the castle. You'll know the door, when you see it."

You shout a quick "Thanks", as she leaves the room. You probably shouldn't put off visiting Marius for too long.
