Chapter 32 by Rabidwolf

What should Lisa do to resolve this?

Replay the hand.

Silas looked angrily at the dealer and then nervously at Lisa's colt.

"I'll assume that you knew nothing about this." Lisa told Silas.

"Thats right." Silas said realizing that Lisa had given him a way out. "I guess they should replay the hand."

"With a new deck of cards," Lisa instructed, "and a new dealer."

"Would that be you?" Silas asked.

"No." Lisa said smiling. "You."

Silas looked at Lisa with surprise.

"Ok." Silas nodded. "Anything else."

"As a matter of fact, yes." Lisa said. "The dealers partner doesn't sit in."

"What partner?" the dealer asked.

"Your just a dealer." Lisa explained. "So without a partner there's no reason to cheat. Unless your doing it for your boss here."

Silas looked at the dealer, who pointed to the player with the most chips. Lisa motioned them away from the table.

A new deck of cards was provided and Silas dealt 5 cards to each of 3 remaining players. Each player discarded a number of cards and Silas dealt replacements.

"Show 'em." Lisa instructed.

Each player laid their cards face up on the table. The big city dude won with a straight flush to the queen.

"I won!" he said excitedly.

"Great." Lisa said. "Now cash out your chips and get out."

Seeing all the angry looks being directed his way the big city dude complied. After he had left Silas addressed Lisa.

"Now. What about you?" he asked.

Lisa took hold of Silas' tie and pulled him with her to the entrance, her colt never straying from his balls. At the entrance Lisa released Silas and backed into the street. The two stared at each other until Silas disappeared back into the saloon. Lisa then turned and walked off. She kept her colt out, ready until well away from the Laughing Man.

Lisa dropped by the sheriff's office and updated him. Bob Thorn warned her to be careful as he paid her her $10.

Lisa returned to the hotel to wash up for dinner. Lisa, now very tired and hungry wanted nothing more than a cooked meal and a decent nights sleep. The thought of another night of the Morgans antics was troubling to Lisa....

Where should Lisa spend the night?
