The big city dude causes more problems for Lisa.

After her sweep thru town Lisa reported the mornings events to sheriff Thorn. Lisa spent her lunch time at the Painted Lady, availing herself of Dan's offer of free coffee.

Following lunch Lisa began her second sweep thru town. Lisa was just about finished when Virgil came to Lisa and alerted her to a problem at the Laughing Man. Lisa ran to the Laughing Man followed by Virgil.

Arriving at the Laughing Man, Lisa found that the balcony guards had their rifles trained on an individual. Lisa's view of this person was blocked by the imposing form of Silas Burns.

Silas stood 5'10" and was powerfully built. He was 45 years old. He had thick graying hair that extended down to and along his jawline. He was unarmed but was the only member of the Laughing Man's staff to be so.

"What the hell is going on here?" Lisa called out.

Silas turned to Lisa, as he did so she saw that the person being covered by the balcony guards was the big city dude.

"Not you again!" Lisa exclaimed.

"Well. Seems you two know each other." said Silas cheerfully. "The gentleman was unhappy that he lost and started to cause trouble."

"Is that true?" Lisa asked the big city dude.

"No." he answered. "They cheated. I threw away the queen of diamonds and the winning hand is four queens."

Lisa walked over to the card table. She looked at the cards face up on the table. The big city dude had two pair, aces over nines.

"How many cards did you throw away?" Lisa asked.

"Just one." the big city dude answered. "The queen of diamonds."

Lisa reached for the discarded cards.

"What are you doing?" Silas asked stepping closer to Lisa.

Lisa quickly drew her colt and shoved the barrel into Silas' balls, pulling back the hammer.

"Anybody does anything I don't like." Lisa warned Silas. "You lose your balls."

"Boss!" called out one of the balcony guards.

"Keep calm, boys." Silas said sweating, looking dowm at Lisa's colt.

Lisa turned over each of the discarded cards in turn. The third card overturned was a second queen of diamonds.
