Relaxing on the Beach (Day 1)

It took time for everyone to reconvene from wandering off in their own directions. A while was given for those who needed to get washed up and changed, to find their way into a new swimsuit, and to come down from whatever adventure had shaped their past couple of hours. But eventually, surely enough, everyone did return.

Fuu took a place in the middle of the Bravos’ makeshift ‘encampment.’ It was a layout that was amusingly reminiscent of the way they would sleep on the road, only instead of sleeping bags being laid out in a circle, it was fluffy towels and instead of a campfire in the middle, they had a great big umbrella.

Skye rested not far from her in the cool shade with some tome or another propper open in front of her. The redhead was arched on her stomach, with her legs kicking up behind her, seemingly unaware of the appealing way her breasts hung in front of her like an endless well of cleavage. Every now and again, Fuu could hear her humming on the wind, and a small smile tweaked her lips.

Becky was nowhere to be seen, but Fuu knew she was off poking around near the edge of some rocky caves the blonde had noticed as they first explored the beach. Nothing dangerous, the woman at the front desk had assured her, but Fuu kept track of how long Becky had been gone, just in case.

A laugh pulled her gaze off into the shallows where Emmaline and Robin were busy splashing about and giggling without a care in the world. Meanwhile, Kellissendra stood nearby like an awkward scarecrow--just close enough to get caught by their splashing, but too uncomfortable with these new friends to actually splash back. Fuu noted the way that, even when the royal liaison was caught square in the face by a blast of water, her hair never seemed to retain a single drop. It was always a glistening, lustrous, golden shine.

Finally, Liv and Kiera were off in the ragtag mess of shops somewhere getting food or picking through souvenirs.

Which left everyone accounted for. Accounted for and safe.

Fuu let out a long sigh and felt an atmospheric weight press down on her. It was nice though, a sort of warm haze. Exhaustion, but also peace. For the first time in a while, she could forget about the world, forget about her oath and promise to the Goddess who Wanders and whatever looming dangers still waited behind the strange, lustful curse all throughout the Amnistlants.

If only for this moment, everything was okay.

Who should we follow on their beach adventures?
