Reinforcements arrive

Just then I hear sounds coming from behind me, from the other side of the square. It’s a group of adventurers. They have already taken their robes off, allowing me to notice their blue capes. Those are the guys from the Blue Legion, and they are accompanied by Lacey, Monica and Miranda from the Singing Bluejays. Crap, if they are fighting from only one side, Fabe and his guys will use the other streets to escape.

Fortunately, that is when I start hearing sounds from the other side as well. Another group of our friends consisting adventurers from the Gryphon Knights and the Kedamono Brigade are showing up from over there. Roland is at the front, joined by Mariko.

Fabe’s guild members start panicking and start shouting.

“What’s happening?”

“We’re being ambushed!”

“Get out of here!”

Some of them run to the carts and start driving them down the one street that is left open, with others trying to prevent the Gryphon Knights and Singing Bluejays from getting to them. Shortly after, I see a bright light appearing from the other end of that street. The Dark Dragon party must have arrived. It is hard to see who is among them from this far, but I do recognize Amelia’s [Ray of Light]. It is her favorite attack spell.

Finally, a cloud black as coal suddenly drops from the sky onto the bar’s blue roof. The cloud quickly dissipates, revealing Kiara standing in its place. From her vantage point, she casts several spells onto Fabe’s guildmembers below.

“The fuck …?” Fabe wonders, having a hard time comprehending everything crashing down around him. He then turns to Mia and asks, “Are you responsible for this?”

Mia smirks and replies, “Looks like your days in the underworld are over. Time to go rot in jail.” And she pulls her sword.

Fabe pulls out a mace with his right hand, then he throws something from his left hand at Mia. She slashes at it with her sword and it shatters, revealing a pink liquid that splashes onto her clothes. Shit, that’s the other incense Kiara told me about. The one that makes women horny. I raise my left hand with the sword’s icy handle already in it. As Fabe steps closer, the sword’s blade grows and hardens in the direction of Fabe’s chest. I let go of the sword and watch him stumble back, clutching at his wound.

“Fucking …” Fabe mumbles as he falls onto the ground, his shirt quickly changing color to a dark red. “Killed by a … cheater.”

I later meet up with Amelia and Leona. Both of them inform me that most of the criminals got captured, only a few of them died. To which I inform them that Fabe is to be counted amongst the dead.

“I really wish we could have captured him.” Amelia says. “Perhaps some time in prison could have reformed him. But at least now Oliver and Emma never have to worry about him again.”

“So, what do we do now?” Leona asks. “I presume we march these criminals to the royal guard. They should be able to process all of them. As well as their confiscate their contraband.”

“Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.” I say. I look over at their guild hall and ask, “What about this building? Would it be a good idea to burn it? Make sure another criminal guild doesn’t take it over?”

“I don’t think so.” Leona shakes her head. “Imagine some more of this incense was hidden away in partitions we didn’t find. We’d basically be exposing this entire neighborhood to those ****.”

“Good point.” I admit. “Right then. Let’s take these guys to the royal guard and have them deal with the aftermath.”

We start by getting a group of captured guild members to start walking in the direction of the castle, surrounded by some of our people. Around that time Kiara, Mia and Roland show up.
