Reference Information: Unchained Demon-Goddess Branch

[AN: I don't necessarily want to start a new branch, but I wanted to put this together anyway because I had some thoughts that wouldn't fit in the Exit.]

Refer back to the (previous reference) information for a basic overview of the setting's baseline, and to cross-reference for differences if you'd like. This post is about this specific branch of the timeline.

Isekai Setting

James Jordanson (Unchained)
Age, Gender: 23 yr/old male.
Societal Status: Demon King - Consort of the Demon-Goddess Arma
Class: Demon King

Innate Traits:

• His magic phone will tend to find its way back to him, so long as he's himself.
• Due to his heightened susceptibility to magic, he was extremely pliable to the Demon-Goddess' magic when she sculpted him, allowing for a greater ascension than would normally be possible.
• As a 'Demon-King' his magic resistance is now exceptionally high, his physical strength is possible to match only by the greatest of heroes, his senses are exceptionally keen, etc. He is, however, still incapable of utilizing magic directly himself due to his place of origin.
• Due to his inability to directly channel magic, his Goddess instead bound the divine energy which would normally grant this blessing to his magical phone, with heretofore undiscovered effects.
• As a Demon-King, particularly directly favored by the Demon-Goddess herself, James' ego is significantly higher than before, and he intrinsically places himself above all other beings save his Goddess.

Background Notes: A man from modern Earth who abruptly found himself in this fantasy world. He was studying at Paidshow University (see: Exit: Take a Selfie) and a classmate of Paul Matthews. Thus, he was 'studying' about lewd streamers and online entertainment from a school filled with expert women specialized in titillating their viewers. Consequently, the man is... probably even hornier and more ignorant than the average young college male.

After transforming the Kingdom's Princess into a Demon-Goddess and binding her to him, he has ascended into becoming a Demon-King. While the Goddess is bound to serve and obey him per their contract, the nature of his transformation has rendered himself intrinsically loyal to her as well. Consequently, while he has a will of his own, he acts largely to what perpetuate what he believes to be her interests based upon the spiritual bond they share.

The Demon-Goddess 'Arma' (Unchained)
Age, Gender: --22?-- yr/old female.
Societal Status: The Demon-Goddess formerly sealed by the Kingdom Armelia
Class: Demon-Goddess

Opinion of James: The first man to wholeheartedly accept her and contract her. She finds his desire to please her to be cute, but she is perfectly content to follow his lead and indulge his whims, allowing her vengeance to fall to the wayside for a time in favor of playing whatever role best suits his narrative at the time.

Innate Traits:

• As a previous target of the phone; 'Arma' is immune to its effects, and any non-situational aspects of her Prompt will remain unchanged regardless of what James does with the phone. If he's in another room and changes the location, she will remain at the same relative distance. If she's in the same room, this will remain the case even if the room changes, but she will not notice in either case. She cannot be directly or indirectly changed by the phone, even if the resulting change is simply a matter of her relative proximity to James.
• Whimsical and indulgent. A true hedonist who never gets bored. She is not cruel, but has little to no regard for the autonomy of others. Indeed, she considers herself benign and good-natured, utilizing her magic to freely enable others to realize their every dream and fantasy, without restraint.
• She has a particular grudge with the kingdom of Armelia for rejecting her and - with help of her rival Goddess - sealing her away beneath the castle.
• Naturally, as a Goddess, her magical power and capabilities can be challenged only be similarly divine powers.
• Due to circumstance, she is capable 'reverting' her persona so as to perfectly mimic the 'Arma Armelia' whom James' originally met, which she considers as merely allowing a smaller piece of herself forward rather than putting on any kind of charade. The demonic core exists beneath, and this facade is given lie by the Demon Goddess' warped selflessness driving her actions, as comparable restrained as they may seem.

Background Notes: A Goddess addicted to trying new things. Upon her descent to the world, she attempted to bestow her blessings upon the people of Armelia. However, her overbearing and unrestrained disregard for human sensibilities saw these blessings instead become functional curses and throw the kingdom into anarchy.

This anarchy spread further as this 'Demon' Goddess walked the earth, until eventually a rival descended to counteract her. With this rival's aid, the Demon Goddess was sealed at the place of her arrival - beneath the castle Armelia. The blessings sewn by the Demon Goddess were brought to heel by her rival, resulting in the class-system of today, with those who could not be brought in line becoming the race of 'Demons.'

Eventually, an otherworldly traveler appeared within the castle Armelia and, by whim and desire, warped the Princess of the Kingdom using a magical device. He unwittingly bound her to the Goddess and in so doing allowed the Goddess to possess and subsume her, usurping her identity and even history to twist the Princess-Knight's destiny. The pure girl born to lead the people against the Demon King was instead a demon-seedling born to enable the Demon Goddess' reincarnation and rebirth.

Artram Armelia (Baseline)
Age, Gender: 41 yr/old male
Societal Status: Ruler of the Kingdom of Armelia. 'Arma's' father.
Class: King.

Innate Traits:

• Fundamentally concerned with, by, or for his daughter in almost every timeline.
• Very strongly tied to his class.
• Arma takes after him a great deal.

Background Notes: Presents a stern and unyielding front: A big softie inside, particularly towards his daughter but also towards his staff. While he personally dealt with the demon that tampered with Arma's coming-of-age-rite, he was did not that her fate had already long-ago been sealed due to the Demon Goddess' exploitation of James' device. And so, he was wholly unaware his heir and beloved daughter had been overwritten, replaced with a demonic changeling that merely bided its time until James' now-preordained arrival. He believes sincerely in the holy Goddess, and will trust in her to liberate Arma's spirit rather than attempt to strike her down. However, James would receive no such mercy.
