Chapter 4 by Zeebop Zeebop

Does Reed Richards notice his wife's outfit?

Reed Fails To Notice Sue's Costume

Sue Storm struck a pose. Her husband never looked up from his tablet. Eyes fixed on whatever he was reading, the Invisible Woman felt her name terribly appropriate. She scowled at him as he walked through the bedroom to their bathroom, utterly oblivious to the sexy wife who stood there posing for him.

If I had been naked, she thought. He wouldn't even know. Do I need to be as slutty as those deepfakes to get his attention?

With a thought, Sue turned the tablet Reed was holding invisible. He blinked, his thoughts disrupted. Turned his face toward his wife, the expression perfectly innocent and confused...and then his eyes widened and jaw dropped.

"Darling...I didn't know you still had that costume..." he said.

"I decided to see if it still fits," Sue said with a smile, eyes half-lidded, pleased to see her body still had some effect on her husband. She felt uncharacteristically bold as she ran her gloved hands down over her hips and pressed her pelvis forward. She liked the attention. And wanted more. "What do you think?"

Reed Richards swallowed hard...but when he spoke again, it wasn't what Sue wanted to hear.

"I think you might want to put something else on before you go out to breakfast," he said. "It isn't exactly appropriate for the children."

Sue scowled, and her hands balled into fists.

"They've seen it before, Reed! This is no more revealing than the bikini I use when I swim, or the athletic wear when I exercise...unless you think that's too revealing too!" The blonde shook with sudden, inexplicable anger. "Maybe I should just wear a hijab! Would that be appropriate enough for you?"

"Sue, calm down. You're not being rational! It's one thing to wear something revealing in the bedroom, but you have an image to maintain..." he said.

"It's my body, and I'll show as much of it off as I want!" Sue insisted.

She turned on her heel and left...not for the kitchen, where she heard Ben and Johnny cook breakfast for the kids. No, Sue stomped down the hall toward the Unstable Molecule Loom, where Reed generated new costumes. The Invisible Woman settled herself at the console and stabbed agitatedly at the software that Reed had written so that each member of the Fantastic Four could customize their look.

Sue brought up the template for the costume she currently wore..and began to cut.

Not like people haven't already seen more of me than this in those deepfakes, the Invisible Woman thought. Although not much more.

She kept the elbow-length gloves and boots. The midriff-baring two-piece shrank until the bottom was little more than a g-string, and the upper portion was no more than a form-fitting transparent sports bra with a pair of pastie-shields in the shape of a 4, blue on white, over the nipples. It was an outfit better suited for a stripper than a superheroine.

Yet somehow, it made Sue excited. The thought of people looking at her, like they looked at those pictures of her. Not fakes, but the real thing, in the flesh, bold and beautiful.

In minutes, the loom began to weave. Sue Storm smiled. She couldn't wait for an opportunity to wear this in action.

Then the alarm sounded. Mysterio had timed the next part of his plan beautifully.

What threat do the Fantastic Four face?
