Yulia wakes up a short time later and seems fully recovered, "that was... scary," are the first words out of her mouth and the other two agree. Yulia sits and recovers, Maple stripping out of her suit and armor for Yulia to repair it and Yulia does so. Maple seeming to enjoy being naked for a bit as she stretches out, using her tail to cover herself a bit, her legs placed together as she leans back in the chair.

"Looking good, kitty," Dreg announces and Maple rolls her eyes.

"Enjoy it... It's the most you're ever getting," she responds.

Yulia finishes repairing the armor and suit and gives it back before also healing Maple while she's undressed and able to be targeted by the healing spell.

"Thank you, Yulia," she says and then proceeds to get dressed again.

"No thank you, I feel like I would have died if it wasn't for you and Lri," she says and gives Maple a hug. Maple hugs her back and then hesitating for a moment she suddenly reaches down and squeezes Yulia's ass making Yulia yelp.

"Ah wh-" she starts flustered by the sudden grope.

"The voices did say to ensure you were okay..." Maple responds with a mischievous tone and Yulia looks away, blushing.

"I... I'm pretty sure I'm fine, no further testing required," she responds and Maple chuckles.

"You sure?" she asks and Yulia freezes and then nods emphatically.

Maple chuckles again, "alright just say the word if you want me to give you a more thorough examination," she teases.

"So, about the conversion upgrade?" Lri butts in much to Yulia's relief.

"It's fairly simple, items are split into three categories, Offensive, your grenades and poisons; defensive, your buff effect items like adrenaline and Support which are your healing and mana regen items," Maple explains.

"Yeah I think I remember Alide saying something like that once," Yulia responds.

"The conversion upgrade can take an item or multiple of a type and turn it into any other item of that type. So, you could take something like an emp grenade and turn it into an aphrodisiac grenade and vice versa," she clarifies and then hesitates, "it also works for ingredients, but only between types, you could change an iron ingot for a similar type of alchemic ingredient, but could not change an iron ingot into a gold ingot, it also does not work on tech stuff, so you unfortunately can't use it to say... create more Machine cores," she adds.

"Alright so, we can basically just change types of items on the fly, if we need a mana potion, but only have healing potions, etc..." Yulia clarifies.

"Yeah it also doesn't work on equipment," Maple includes quickly, realizing she had forgot to clarify that.

"Alright we have the idea, I guess now we just move forward then, we can play around with the converter later if we want too," Lri states.

"Yes, we can head to the workshop to pick up some more plates from the predators I had to kill in the area," Maple explains and Yulia gasps.

"You had to fight those things?! Alone?!" she says and Maple nods, gasping as Yulia hugs her tightly.

"You did so much for me..." Yulia says sounding almost on the verge of tears.

"I did, but you saved me too and you're going to save my entire city," she says patting Yulia comfortingly.

Afterwards, all suited back up and ready they head to the engineering bay and gather from the broken predators. Recovering four more plates.

"you know... Sally has to know we're getting parts from these machines and she could prevent that by just... you know taking the broken machines away after a fight, why does she leave them for us?" Lri asks.

"I dunno, maybe she has a sense of fair play or something," Maple responds.

"Indeed... While it would be advantageous for me to remove the machines and prevent you from using them, you have earned them and I am not an unfair ruler," the voice speaks around them and they all freeze.

"relax, the directive program is busy elsewhere, you got lucky this time," Sally announces and the three women hurry their work and escape back to the terminal.

Back at the terminal they are looking at the map, "alright so... We have two options, head back to deal with the manager and get his machine core or go straight to rescuing our friends," Yulia mutters looking at the map.

"We take out the manager that's another upgrade, which we can use to strengthen ourselves before heading to the prison," Maple suggests and Lri hesitantly agrees.

"I don't like leaving our comrades, but... We don't know what awaits us at the prison and I'd like to be as prepared as possible," she explains.

"Alright, I guess we're going to have a rematch with the Manager," Yulia agrees.

She hits the button on the map for the Mercantile terminal and the train moves.

Later they emerge at the terminal and head for the megastore, the doors stand open invitingly, the lights are on and there's no sign of the Manager, something they know will change as soon as they enter, "we have a plan for this?" Yulia asks.
