Recovery Blend

Chapter 9 by dbzzzzz

The instructor's voice drops to a low, hypnotic murmur as the class settles into savasana. "Let every muscle release. Let go of anything you've been holding onto. There is nothing left to prove, nothing left to defend."

You close your eyes, flat on your back, arms loose at your sides. The warm studio air settles over your skin. Slowly, gratefully, your body listens. Your breathing deepens and slows. The heat drains out of your face. And with agonizing, blessed relief, your erection finally, gradually, softens.

---

Chloe lowers her voice to a solemn whisper, holding up one hand to hush the crowd. "Ladies... ladies, please. I need a moment of silence."

The studio lights dim. On the massive screen, your body lies still and finally, mercifully relaxed.

"We have just witnessed," Chloe intones gravely, "the passing of a truly impressive erection."

Three mournful piano notes drift through the speakers. The audience bows their heads with exaggerated reverence, a few women pressing hands to their chests.

A voice cuts through from the front row. "Give him five minutes!"

The studio dissolves into howling laughter, the somber moment shattering instantly.

---

When your eyes open, the instructor is standing over you, holding out a folded towel. "Thank you so much for joining us, John," she says warmly, helping you sit up. "I mean that. I wish every guest practiced yoga nude—there's something so honest about it. I know the first time can feel intimidating, but you did wonderfully."

You take the towel, murmuring your thanks, and wrap it securely around your waist as you climb to your feet.

The women filter past you on their way out, and several of them linger, touching your arm, praising your confidence. "Seriously, most guys would've bailed the second they realized," the redhead says, squeezing your shoulder. "You just went for it."

Swept up in the warmth of their attention, flushed with something that feels dangerously close to pride, you follow them out the door—completely forgetting that your robe is still hanging on the rack inside.

---

Outside, an attendant offers you a chilled bottle, condensation beading down the glass. "Recovery blend," she explains cheerfully. "Electrolytes, adaptogens, a little circulation support to help flush out the lactic acid." It sounds like standard spa wellness talk, and you're thirsty, so you tip your head back and drain the entire bottle in one long pull as you walk into the communal relaxation lounge.

Your next treatment isn't for another thirty minutes, so you sink gratefully into one of the plush automated massage chairs lining the wall. A padded pneumatic sleeve closes snugly around your foot, and heat and rolling pressure begin working up through your calf.

You let your head fall back, eyes closing. The warmth of the recovery drink settles low in your stomach, then begins to seep outward — a slow, creeping flush that travels from your core down into your thighs and up across your chest. It's pleasant at first. Drowsy. The kind of heat you associate with a good massage or a strong drink on an empty stomach. You barely register the way the towel's fabric drags softly against your skin with each pass of the massage rollers, or the growing sensitivity that makes every brush of terrycloth feel a little sharper, a little more deliberate.

By the time the heat pools fully between your legs, you're too relaxed to notice the change happening under the towel. Your breathing stays slow and even. The pneumatic sleeve kneads your calf. And beneath the thin white fabric stretched across your lap, a heavy, insistent erection rises in slow, unconscious stages — fed by the circulatory compounds flooding your system far faster than the label ever intended.

You don't notice. Not until a voice rings out from across the lounge.

"Hope you're enjoying that chair as much as we're enjoying the view."

Your eyes snap open. Two women lounging on a nearby daybed are watching you with open, delighted amusement.

"If he's not careful," the other adds, grinning over the rim of her wine glass, "he's going to poke a hole through that towel."

Mortified, you grab the edges of the towel and try to reposition it—but the fabric only pulls tighter across the straining, obvious length of your erection, outlining it in even sharper, more conspicuous detail.

---

Chloe stood in front of the large screen, facing it. The screen was split - one half showing your struggle against the towel, the other shows two women in a behind-the-scenes corridor, microphones clipped to their silk uniforms. Suki and Valerie.

Chloe's voiceover is a purr. "Suki. Last time you were on the floor in front of him. You breathed on it. You held it. If you had to pick a favorite..."

Suki laughs, a low, unguarded sound. "Breathing was fun. But holding it was information. I learned exactly how he reacts to a firm, guiding touch." She looks directly into the lens, her playful mask slipping into something hungrier. "Given the choice? I'd like to do both. Breathe on it while I hold it. See if he can keep his hips still for that."

The camera cuts to Valerie. "And you, Valerie. You took his robe. The towel is just sitting there. Is history about to repeat?"

Valerie's composure is absolute, but her eyes are dark with amusement. "The towel isn't defective. It's inadequate. There's a distinction. My role is to present him with choices that highlight that inadequacy." She tilts her head. "Whether the towel stays or goes depends entirely on which option makes him blush harder and throb more without actually quitting on us. I'm leaning toward... options."

---

Suki arrives first, her heels clicking against the marble. The instant her eyes land on the rigid shape tenting your towel, her professional composure melts into unmistakable delight.

"Oh my, John," she purrs, crouching beside the chair, her gaze fixed squarely on your lap. "We meet again."

Valerie arrives moments later, her measured gaze immediately restoring some order to the chaos. "What seems to be the issue," she asks smoothly. "The chair, the recovery drink, or your renewed anatomical pressure?"

You swallow hard. "...All three, maybe."

Suki drops to examine your trapped ankle, though her eyes seem to drift everywhere except your foot. "Ankle looks fine," she reports, not looking at the ankle at all.

Valerie's attention sharpens. "How quickly did you finish the recovery blend?"

"I, uh. All at once. I was thirsty."

Valerie retrieves the empty bottle from the side table, turning it to read the fine print on the label. "The instructions recommend sipping it gradually. Over forty-five minutes." She looks up at you, entirely composed. "The blend carries a small statistical chance of acting as a mild aphrodisiac in men. Consumed that quickly, the circulation-supporting compounds concentrate rather than disperse gradually. The result is what we clinically refer to as temporary circulatory enthusiasm."

Suki repeats the phrase back with far too much relish. "Circulatory enthusiasm. Oh it's definitely enthusiastic"

You lower your voice, glancing at the two women still watching from the daybed. "The towel's barely covering anything."

Suki studies your lap with exaggerated care, leaning first to one side and then the other. “You’re fully covered, John. Nobody can see any actual skin.” Relief barely begins to loosen your shoulders before she continues, “They can only make out the complete outline, most of the length, the position of the head, and every little jump it makes when your pulse catches up.” Your erection gives a heavy twitch beneath the towel. Suki watches it with bright fascination. “There. That sort of movement.”

"Suki," Valerie cuts in flatly. "Stop helping."

Suki presses her lips together, clearly biting back a smile.

Valerie turns back to you. "I can release the chair's sleeve right now. But you'll need to decide where you go from here. You could head to your next treatment early—get out of the lounge immediately. Or, if you'd like to be cautious about the intensity of the blood flow, I can bring you in for a precautionary circulation scan."

Either way gets you out of the open room and away from the audience currently enjoying the show.
