“Who are you?”Bryce asked fearfully knowing they were at their mercy especially with his cousin still being held somewhere else.

“My name is Dr Yumi Ling a scientist from Japan and these are my guards but that’s not important or what you want to ask me is it Mr Melton”Yumi said and Bryce nodded in reply.

“to put it simple Mr Melton I’ve developed a very unique serum that of which I’ve injected you with do not worry I ran through every single test I could think of before giving it to you as you were not the first person I injected with however you are the first to be in this position”Yumi said as Zeta appeared with a towel clad Stephanie who was in a daze.

“And that is.”Bryce asked watching his cousin closely making sure she was okay.

“Tell me Mr Melton do you believe in vampires?”Yumi asked and Bryce snorted.

“Vampires Dr I think you need help if you believe that”Bryce mocked however Yumi simply smirked as clone Yankee cut Stephanie’s cheek slightly.

“Hey what are……”Bryce said before stopping smelling Stephanie’s blood he looked at the blood in hunger feeling his lips getting tingling as Yumi got up from the couch.

“You are a vampire now Mr Melton a newborn one at that you need your first feed to fully awaken which is why I’m sorry for this”Yumi said as Bryce froze hearing this as he realised she was speaking the truth and grew horrified knowing what he wanted to do.

“No please no….not my cousin please”Bryce begged however he had already shot across the room pushing Yankee away and without remorse bit in to Stephanie’s neck.

“Aaaaaaarrrrrggghhhhh!”Stephanie screamed in pain however Bryce cared little as a mouth watering taste filled his mouth and in to his stomach he released loud moans of satisfied hunger as he drained Stephanie dry her whimpering and cries going silent as her blood was drunk soon Bryce pulled away from her screaming as black lines started covering his body his hair turned white,his eyes became glowing red silted pupils,and a set of fangs grew in his mouth he let out a roar of excitement before calming down panting from his transformation.

“Stephanie…I’m sorry”Bryce said remorsefully as he turned to Yumi.

“why! why me”Bryce asked wanting to know.

“Honestly you were the only one I could find at the time sorry”Yumi said Bryce dropped to the ground crying as he realised he killed his cousin the clones all left leaving Yumi and Bryce alone.

“Here this will give you all the information you will need to know”Yumi said placing a USB on the table as she stood up Bryce looked at her.

“What’s in this for you why do this?”Bryce asked as Yumi walked away.

“I’m a scientist Mr Melton I need research and this is the only research I’m missing good luck Mr Melton”Yumi said leaving Bryce’s home.
