Raiding party, part 1
How did things come to this?
When Syd had used the [Mark of Submission] to deprive the three invaders of their ability to feel pleasure he had expected this would be the end of people invading his domain, he couldn't be more wrong, over the next weeks more and more people would infiltrate his home searching for the master of the dungeon, despite their numbers however these efforts had only led to even more people getting captured and subsequently cursed, it was honestly turning to quite the headache for Syd, thankfully a new variant of minion that could take care of the of the prisoners's health had emerged, they were only blessing in this whole mess.
But today things were different a group of five people had invaded his domain overcoming his defenses one by one and while Syd did manage to capture the two weakest members of the group when they got separated the other three had managed to reach his room relatively unscathed.
The opponent standing before him were a Great Cleric/Therapist, a Defender/Paladin, and an Inquisitor/Temple Infiltrator all of them high enough level to be a threat even in his domain. For better or for worse they didn't seem to have realized he was the master of the dungeon, thinking he was just another monster, not too surprising considering people had only seen him in humanoid forms. Either way, his situation was bad if he didn't play his cards right this encounter could very well be his end so he had to think carefully about how to proceed.
He could hit them fast and hard before they had the chance to realize his threat level, that approach was all but sure to secure his victory but he also ran the risk of accidentally killing the invaders, he could try to hold back to ensure they remained alive but this risked giving them the time for a counter-offensive. Alternatively, he could reveal his humanoid form and try to convince them to leave him alone, if he could pull it off he could end this without **** but if they weren't willing to listen he would have just thrown away one of his biggest advantages.
