Biography:
Rachel grew up in one of the better parts of Riledo and thus enjoyed a rather busy, yet comfortable lifestyle. The reason her family was so well of is because her father used to be an adventurer. He made a lot of money from his adventuring days and when it was time for him to settle down, he bought a house in Riledo , married his girlfriend and had a family.

During her younger days, Rachel often had her father tell stories about his days as an adventurer. The story that stuck with her the most is the one where he and his friends were clearing pests out a cave until there was a cave-in which trapped both him and 2 of his friends. His other guild mates that weren’t trapped traveled back to Riledo for help, but it would take them 3 days, 2 if they rushed, then at least another 3 days for the help to show up. Food ran out after 2 days and water ran out after day 4. At the end of the 5th day, Rachel’s father gave up hope and expected to die before help arrived. Just then, the rocks blocking the exit parted, moved away by an earth mage that bore the Knights Hospitaler symbol on his chest. Some more members of the Knights Hospitaler showed up and gave food and water to both him and his friends, then they carried them out of the cave and saved their lives.

Rachel took this story to heart, because if the Knights Hospitaler hadn’t shown up, her father would have died before she was even born. It is this story that motivated her to become an adventurer and join the Knights Hospitaler. So that one day, she could join a rescue party and save people in the same way her father was rescued.

Equipment:
When going out on missions, Rachel dresses herself in a red gambeson on top of which she wears a steel chainmail shirt, on top of which she wears a white overcoat with red cross on it, signifying she is with the Knights Hospitaler guild.

For her weapons, she has chosen a sword and has also been issues with a specially modified Knights Hospitaler type tower shield. The kind of shield that can have its top be attached to the bottom of another Knights hospitaller tower shield, forming a makeshift stretcher.
