Chapter 19 by whs whs

Where did you wake up?

Pub

You come to slowly, as if emerging from a deep fog. Your head is spinning, and the world around you feels unfamiliar and strange. You realize you're in some dimly lit place, filled with loud music, the smell of ****, and cigarette smoke. It's a pub on the outskirts of town — a place you've never been before. You're sitting at the counter, and next to you is an almost empty glass that looks like a cheap cocktail.

The first thing you notice is a strange taste in your mouth. It's salty, slightly bitter, with a faint metallic note. You grimace, trying to figure out what it could be. Vague guesses flash through your mind: maybe you drank something unusual? Or is this the aftermath of ****? But no, it doesn't resemble any familiar sensation.

Then you feel a fatigue on your face, as if your skin has become heavier. You run your hand over your cheek and notice it's sticky, as if covered with something dried up. You touch your hair — it's dirty, tangled, with some matted strands. You start to feel uneasy. What happened? Why are you here? And why does everything around you feel so wrong?

You try to recall the last events, but your memory fails you. The last thing you remember is talking to your sister in your room. She played a song... "Mr. Brightside"... And then... Then nothing. A blackout. It’s as if someone cut out a chunk of time from your life.

You look around, hoping to find some clues. You're wearing a short dress that barely covers your thighs and high-heeled shoes. Your feet ache, as if you've been walking in them for a long time. You feel strange, uncomfortable, but above all — scared. What's going on? Where are you? And what the hell are you doing dressed like this?

You decide to get up and leave, but your body doesn’t obey well. The heels slip on the floor, and you stagger, trying to keep your balance. People around you look at you curiously, some men turn their heads, eyeing your figure appraisingly. You feel ashamed, but you keep walking, hoping to get outside as soon as possible.

When you step out into the fresh air, the cold night wind hits your face, making you shiver. You try to gather your thoughts. What happened? Why did you wake up in such a place? And why do your body and clothes feel so... dirty?

You feel lost, confused, and frightened. You decide to go home to try to make sense of what's happening. But the closer you get to the house, the more questions arise in your mind. What did Jane do to you? And how can you stop her?
