Kai had the best sleep of his life, probably because of Luke’s Cuddlepush I perk, but having his balls empty and his stamina depleted also helped.

Unfortunately, his dreams weren’t that pleasant.

He was dreaming about Luke, about his smile, his laugh, his blush… about his tears, his cries, his bruised skin.

He imagined how it would be to use the app to change him further, make him a silly little pet boy who can’t think of his own, wholly dependent on him.

He thought about the many possible perks he could give him, some to make him enjoy pain, some to make him unable to resist…

He imagined himself creating new ones, a perk to make Luke kneel wherever he wanted to.

One to make him need to suck his cock every morning.

Another one to be able to fuck him in front of his entire familly without even make them bat an eye.

He imagined many more things, using him as a chair, as a footstool, or even as a toilet.

Pushing him further down the road of depravity, teaching him to beg not for mercy of salvation, but for further punishment.

He felt the thrill, the satisfaction of having conquered every part of Luke’s soul, until there wasn’t the slightly fraction of it that didn’t belong to him.

Kai woke up early in the morning, not covered in sweat or screaming, as one would usually do after a nightmare, but with a noticeable boner sandwiched between Luke’s thighs.

Still, he carefully got out of the bed, making sure that his boyfriend didn’t wake up, and went to the bathroom with his phone. He washed his face with cold water and stared into the mirror, lost.

Finally, he opened the godforsaken app and watched the notifications.

He hadn't given them any quest last night, just the one to get Luke cleaned up, which apparently was greatly related to his class.

After that, he checked everyone's profiles, remembering who they were before he had started changing them.

Vanessa and Luke had new kinks, clearly because of him, but on top of that, all of them had changed a lot in the last few days, their bodies slightly, their minds a lot more.

Kai didn’t really care about Vanessa or Jack, he had always expected to break Vanessa someday, and he didn’t care about what Jack did as long as he could get money from him.

But Luke… he was a different story.

Kai knew he was being a hypocrite, he had used this app since the start to turn his best friend gay. Not only that, but he had also changed his body slightly, and was planning on going even further.

At the same time, he knew Luke was still Luke. Even if he had changed his looks slightly, or his interests, he was still the same person. The problem was that he doubted it would remain that way for long.

It was not the nightmare that scared him, it was how much he had enjoyed it, the idea of turning Luke into a cute plaything… Kai stared at himself in the mirror, he looked the same as he had last Wednesday, but looking in his eyes he understood. He had nothing in common with the man he once was.

It was at that moment that his phone made a notification sound. Kai stared down surprised. His phone was always in vibration mode, ever since he bought the first one ten years ago.

With a shaking hand, he opened the QuestMaster app again, although instead of the usual menu, he was received by a message instead.

Good morning Kai, we have noticed your distress after what we believed should’ve been a joyous occasion, and took the liberty to explore your recent memories to understand the cause of your behaviour.

Firstly, we would like to mention that your dreams are not prophetic in nature, which means that there is no guarantee that you will do any of the things you imagined.

On the other hand, your dreams are fueled by your subconscious fantasies, so if given the chance you will probably end up doing most of the things you imagined.

However, since you have been an outstanding Quest Master, and many of the members of our team have taken a liking to your relationship with Luke, we have decided to offer you a way out.

We can grant you a perk that will ensure that your feelings and intentions regarding Luke remain as pure as the day you first opened the app. This means that while you might be brutal and merciless with everyone else, you will always have a “soft spot” for Luke.

Unfortunately, this is something that goes completely against the purpose of the app. We want entertainment, and a perk like this would most likely deprive us from a great deal of it.

To solve this pressing issue, we demand a sacrifice. In exchange for our help, you will have to find a new target, and use them as an outlet for all your dark fantasies, current and future.

A second after he finished reading the message, a new quest appeared on his screen.

Quest [target: quest master]: A soul for a soul

Description: Pick a new target to turn them into an outlet for all your dark fantasies. Don’t worry, you don't have to complete this quest right away, instead, you will have to grant a recently acquired target the “Sacrifice mark” it won’t have any effect on them, but subtly change the way that you see them to make sure that you uphold your end of the barging.

The rewards of this Quest will be granted the moment you accept it, and this quest will vanish if you don't accept it in less than an hour. Additionally, upon accepting the quest, you can choose to release one of your targets without any cost of perk requirement. Finally, if no target has been given the “Sacrifice mark” before a week has passed, it will be given to Luke.

Rewards: Perk: Pure love, Sacrifice mark, [Optional] release a target.

Kai stared at the quest in silence, this was a saving grace to his problem, he could save Luke from himself. But of course, he would have to sacrifice someone else for it.

Kai bit his lower lip, his hand shaking, before his finger reached the screen.

“I’m sorry…” Was all he could say, before sealing his fate.

And with this, the next batch of chapters is finished. I think it's fitting for a “faustian bargain” type of app to give one of its users this kind of option. Yes, it's a way to save the only person he really cares about, but it also means pushing his own soul willingly to the bottom of the abyss.

As per usual, I invite you all to use this marvelous branching point to tell your own stories. For my part, I will focus on the “Kai takes the deal, without releasing anyone” route. Mostly because it’d be kind of stupid to give Kai this option if I wasn't planning on using it, something something Chekhov's gun…
