Rules of the QuestMaster:

The QuestMaster is an app where the protagonist designs and sends quests to his targets, who will be compelled to achieve them. They can still fail, you can think of it as minor mind control.
When accomplishing those quests, targets receive rewards, changing them slightly phisically or mentally, as well as levelling up.
At a high enough level, the QuestMaster can also give a class to their targets, theming quests and rewards around it and amplifiying the transformation's effects.

First, the QuestMaster uses their slots on people they know, the chosen target will then install their own version of the app, called Life Quest. This version only has the target's profile, and shows them their quests when a new one is made. Depending on the QuestMaster's bought perks, targets might also choose some kind of bonus reward when levelling up.

When a target finishes a quest, a cooldown starts, when it's done, the target can receive a new quest. Depending on the accomplished quest difficulty, the QuestMaster also receives xp, each level, they gain a perk point usable on the perk tree.


Here is a basic list of perks for inspiration :

Quest Designer I : Allows the creation of basic one step quests.

Quest Designer II (1 perk) : Allows the creation of simple two and three step quests.

Quest Designer III (2 perks) : Allows the creation of advanced multiple step quests.

Recommended Reward I : Create a recommended reward for basic quests.

Recommended Reward II (1 perk) : Create a list of three recommended reward for basic quests and let the QuestMaster choose one.

Reward Designer I (2 perks) : Allows the questmaster to create a basic reward.

Reward Designer II (2 perks) : Allows the questmaster to create an advanced reward.

Public Unawareness (1 perk) : When toggled, nobody will notice the target doing anything inappropriate for a quest.

Target Unawareness (2 perks) : When toggled, the target will try to accomplish the quest without noticing it.

Class Designer (2 perks) : Give a class to a target, slowly altering them as they level up.

Additional Slot I (1 perk) : Unlock an additional target slot.

Additional Slot II (1 perk) : Unlock an additional target slot.

Additional Slot III (1 perk) : Unlock an additional target slot.

Character Editor I (1 perk) : Enables small changes to character info every 24h.

Character Editor II (1 perk) : Enables medium changes to character info every 48h.

Character Editor III (2 perks) : Enables Big changes to character info every 72h.


Author's Note: All those rules are only here to guide the writer, and can be modified or ignored in order to tell a better story. I also made the story public because I really like this idea and would be happy to read other people's version of it. Don't hesitate to start your own branch, or even add a chapter starting from mine if you prefer.
