To the university

"Look Jane, every distraction puts the princess and us in more danger." responds Sirius. "If there's a chance AFTER we secure the girl, we might consider helping officer blondie, but right now we can't take the risk"

"I-I guess you do have a point, sorry officer but I promise we'll get these supplies to the cathedral after we're done." Says Jane softly to Diana.

"Don't make promises you're not sure you can keep idiot." murmurs Kane as he enters the truck and sits on the driver's seat.

"O-ok..." says Diana hopelessly, Jane helps her stand up and they both get up and enter the truck, Diana sitting on the co-pilot seat while Jane sits between Sirius and Diana.

Sirius pulls out the cellphone with the tracker device, to confirm once again that Lexie's position hasn't changed and she's still inside the school dorms, hoping that she hasn't become a soulless demon he starts driving following the route the device displays. Diana and Jane meanwhile keep their eyes peeled in case any demon attempts to intercept them but although they see a few of them in the distance none of them appears to be approaching their truck.

Luckily for them it seems the demons haven't spread towards this part of the city just yet, they exit the freeway and notice that the streets are in a much better state than in the downtown, however they are still eerily empty. They finally reach the college dorms and Sirius gets off the truck.

"Jane, you take the wheel and stay here with officer blondie, if I don't come back in 30 minutes then get the hell out." orders Sirius as he double checks his gear and walks towards the entrance.

"Hold up! Why are you trying to leave me behind again!?" answers Jane frustratedly.

"Because someone needs to be sure the truck is still here by the time I come back and I don't trust her enough to leave our only means of transport with her." responds Sirius as he loads his gun with a new magazine.

As he approaches the front door of the dorms Sirius notices that the door was **** open or more like smashed open as he sees pieces of furniture used to barricade the entrance scattered around. "Shit!" He checks the cellphone and zooms in on the map to confirm that Lexie's room is located on the second floor at the end of the hallway, he climbs the stairs and advances carefully through the hallway, alert of any sounds or movements however all the rooms on the second floor are locked or vacant and he finally reaches his destination.

He attempts to open the door but it's locked however unlike in the other rooms he can faintly hear voices coming from the inside.
