Start of next Chapter

Earlier that night, Bryce sent Cortney a video.

"I hope she watches...danm paintrock is lost, and those undead vampires are finaly starting to thin out, but that means their Goin to the neighboring towns" says Bryce Melton.

"We can't worry about her right now...we have to get out of here first" reolys Stephanie Melton.

Stephanie is Bryce's cousin, she came in to visit her father, but now their the only two left, not transformed. They have been fighting their way to safety with make shift weapons. Bryce is worried about Cortney, and that's why they've been making their way towards Kingston.

"Close is clear...let's grab that car and find her" reolys Stephanie.

Bryce agrees, they look around from their hiding spot, and theirs only one vamp male wondering around.

Okay...count of three, we rush him, then why he is down, get to that car.....1...2...and...3" says Bryce gripping the metal pole he holds.

Stephanie grabs a folding chair, and they rush the vampire. Bryce swings the pole like a golf club into the males gentles, as Stephanie smahes the chair on his face. Liked plan he goes down, and they run to the car. They both get in, Stephanie in the driver's seat, looking for keys. Bryce helps look as the make vampire starts getting up.

"Found them" says Bryce open the glove capartment.

He hands them to his cousin and they drive off.

"Fuck that was close" says Bryce.

He grabs his phone and trys calling Cortney, but it just rings. They drive to Kingston, it takes about 15 minutes. Bryce keeps trying , bit Cortney doesn't answer. As their driving, Bryce notices Cortney's car at Buddies BBQ.

"Shit stop the car" says Bryce.

Stephanie stops and they look, theirs no vampires around, but the lights are off, and the cop cars doors are still open, with no one their. Cortney's car sits their empty as well. They park and get out, and Bryce sees Cortney's cell in her car.

"And that's why she won't answer" thinks Bryce.

"I'm sorry Bryce, it's a mess in their..I don't think she got out...at least not human anymore " replys Stephanie.

Bryce doesn't want to adventure it, but he believes the same thing.

"Okay...let's get out of her" replys Bryce as his phone rings.

He doesn't recognize the number, but he answers without a word.

"Bryce...help me...I'm scared, their everywhere " comes Cortney's voice.

"Cortney..where are you, we will be their sooni..I promise " reolys Bryce.

"Hurry...im hiding , but these creature...their..their not human...they took my friend, she changed, shes like them..hurry..im at the dollar general hiding" she says before hanging up.

"Bryce" says Stephanie

"She's at the dollar general, we have to hurry..she must of used one the store phones to call me" says Bryce.

"It may be to late before we arrive...are you sure" Stephanie asks.

Bryce nods, and they head over to the Dollar General.
