The goal of this conspiracy is rather simple: our female protagonist is a lesbian and needs to have lesbian sex.
Of course she doesn't consider herself a lesbian, and people don't want to push her too hard. Perhaps she can be swayed by a friend? Or she's a college student and it is time to experiment a little?
