The Rec-Room

"Honestly, I'm not totally sure, but since we are dealing with the snowstorm today, I guess I'll probably end up in the rec-room with the rest of you," Anna said with an easy smile, "Nikki and I always find something to do when we're locked in boredom,"

"Something tells me it's going to be tough for us to end up bored in this place," Kenny lightly joked,

Anna laughed back, "You definitely have a point there, I mean even if I can't find something in the rec-room I could always see the library too,"

"Yeah, Brian's mom is a real bookworm. She has hundreds in this library so you're bound to find something you like," Kenny added on,

Just then Brian poked his head into the room, "Great going guys, now come on, we're heading to the rec-room for a while,"

Kenny and Anna left the living room, joining the others as they headed up the hallway, past the staircase, and to a large set of double doors, Brian stepped past his friends and pushed the large oak doors open, "Leave the doors open, that fireplace will warm the place eventually but we won't feel it if these are closed," Brian said as he watched everyone flood in eagerly,

"Dibs on that tv," Mindy quickly blurted out while rushing over to it and turning it on along with a connected game console, "Oh this is so fucking sweet," Mindy grinned, "Ken! You in?"

"Why not," Kenny shrugged, "Never get sick of creaming you,"

"I knew you two were working out some serious sexual tension," Nicole called out in a teasing fashion though the duo chose to ignore the comment all the same, "Ah, fuck 'em," Nicole said with a wave of her hands,

"JJ?" Brian said expectantly causing the teen to look back and quickly extend an arm out, catching a pool stick that Brian tossed over to him, "Shall we?"

"Your funeral, man," JJ laughed as the pair headed over to the billiards table leaving Anna and Nicole alone at the entryway,

"Right, well then," Nicole scoffed as she looked at the rest of her friends, "I guess it's me and you then," She said with a smile to her blonde friend,

"Yeah," Anna nodded, "What do you want to do?"

"Hmmm," Nicole hummed while peering around the rec-room, inspecting the room with curiosity,

As the redhead thought Anna found herself drifting over towards Kenny and Mindy on the couch, now engrossed in a match of a classic fighting game. She let out a small smile as she could hear their small smack talk, laughs, and playful shoves, they definitely seemed to be having a good time. "We could join Ke-" Anna started to suggest only for Nicole to cut her off,

"This way, I have a great idea!" Nicole grinned as she yanked Anna deeper into the rec room.
