What are you hearing?

It's the novelty doorbell. Because Beth is the sort of person who buys those.

A strange bit of music plays, and a high-pitched voice goes "Guess who?". You and Jess glance at Beth.

"It's the doorbell," she explains. "It plays the Woody Woodpecker song." She bites her lip nervously as you and Jess stare at her. "Look, I thought it was cute, okay?"

"Beth!" comes a female voice, "Beth, you have to come to the door! It's... it's horrible!"

Another younger female voice joins in. "Please Mrs. Stedman! Open up! My brother... he's one of them, and he just... did my mom!"

Beth smiles, licking her lips. "Mmmm, Carmen and Stacy..." She heads to the bedroom window and opens it up.

"What are you doing?" you ask.

"I figure we'll just fly out and pick them off there," Beth answers with a shrug.

"Not a bad idea," you note, "but it would be better if one of us kept them busy at the door."

Warren nods. "I'll do it," he says, shifting his glamour on. Ron and Beth oooh and ahhh at the display of subtle power, and then Warren heads out to go to the front door.

"Stacy..." he says with a yawn as the door opens. "Mrs. Pelaez... What... Mom and Ron are sleeping..."

"Warren!" says Stacy. "It's the... sex... demon... things..."

You and the others fly out the window as Warren continues his distraction.
