With family

His mother and father were happy to take a break from their work and home lives. His sister just wasn’t happy to see him. They all piled into the car and hit the road. They had planned a beach vacation to “beat that summer heat,” as the adults said and children rolled their eyes at. Nevertheless, they all agreed that a few days at the beach sounded nice and no further objections were raised.

Nate’s parents sat up front while he and his sister shared the backseat. Although perhaps “sharing” is not the right word. They rarely spoke anymore and the close proximity did nothing to change that. His sister ignored him completely, choosing to tune everyone and everything out with her earbuds in, except for when she would periodically glare at him out of the corner of her eye. Despite knowing her for his entire life, Nate never managed to come up with the words to describe his sister, just that she was definitely unlike anyone else he had ever known. Eventually, she broke the silence with the plan that she had been forming in her head for the past half-hour. Being preoccupied himself, Nate neglected to read her mind as he thought it would take more time before he would see an opportunity for fun.

“Ugh! Nate stop touching me!” his sister blurted out.

Nate just looked at her in surprise. He didn’t know what she was doing but he liked where it was going.

“What’s going on back there?” said Nate’s mother.

“Nate is touching my ass.”

“What?!” both parents said. Nate’s father pulled the car over to the side of the road and hit the breaks. Both parents turned around and started chastising Nate. Telling him that what he is doing was extremely inappropriate. ‘That was a bit melodramatic,’ thought Nate ‘They bought that story without question, and they didn’t even ask me for my side.’ Then he remembered just how much of the favorite child his sister was. In fact, he had made her that way by using his powers on his parents, as he thought it would make things more interesting. ‘Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I guess I never undid that one, did I? Oh well,’ he thought. His parents were still going when Nate started paying attention again. He could see his sister grinning just out of their line of sight. She grew into that privileged role quite nicely.

“Here we are trying to have a nice family vacation and you are groping your sister. You are going to behave yourself, do you understand. We are giving you a punishment, a long term one that will last for the duration of the trip to keep you in line. That should teach you.” said his mother, his father tacitly agreed. The only problem with this situation was that Nate didn’t actually put anything erotic into his parents heads, just that his sister was the clear favorite. He was going to have to improvise if he wanted this to play out in his favor.

This vacation was off to a cracking start.
