It's not a date

"No you're right. I don't think it's a date," you tell her.

"Ok good. I don't think I am ready for anything like that. Especially not with a guy I literally just met today. I'm not sure I should even go anyway."

"Honestly? I think you should go. Maybe he has changed. It couldn't hurt to try. Besides I'm just a text away if you need me," you argue.

"Wow that is so mature of you, Adam! Ok, I'll go. I haven't been to a party in a while anyway," she replies.

You feel insane for convincing her to do this but you need to think strategically if you wanna beat Derek. Playing into his hand will leave him **** for a sneak attack. All you need now is the address of the party. Luckily for you, Tori excuses herself to the restroom and leaves her phone behind. You seize the opportunity and quickly grab her phone.

The conversation starts with standard texting stuff. Then it develops into Derek giving her some advice on how to optimize her study time. Finally you see the invite and find the address. You take a picture on your phone. You can't lose Tori to this monster. You can't let them have fun tomorrow, and you need to make her realize she wants you.

You put the phone away just in time to avoid being caught with it. You finish studying with Tori and then head home to plan for tomorrow.
