The Voices have Chosen

As you and the other voices each speak and discuss your choice, the prospective chosen wait and listen. Maria's eyes narrow as she hears one of the voices speak. She bites her lip as the voice speaks about how it hopes for her to suffer humiliation within the tower. She sighs, "I suppose I did state I wished to learn humility," she states after a few seconds a slight blush on her cheeks, the blush disappearing and her mood souring as she hears one of the voices call her cause the weakest, "What? The lizard over there's cause is wanting to make a map!" she responds and then groans as she listens to the voices continue.

Alianna isn't too happy to hear the word settle used in conjunction with the choice to vote for her, but she's more than happy to take what she can get. She allows herself to feel slightly smug that it seems a lot of the voices consider her the best choice, before pushing the feeling away. If the voices do choose her she will have to do her utmost to make sure their choice is correct. She glances over at Yulia nervously as she is hearing her name a lot as well.

Hailey looks distraught. She had really expected it to work. The voices seemed to be mostly male, no male before had been able to resist her charms, still she didn't hear her name much and one of the few times she was mentioned made her blood boil, "Did that voice just essentially say that it's fine sentencing me to ****, because I'm not young enough," she growls her hands clenching into fists. She shakes her head and she can feel her breath starting to become heavy. It's pretty clear she's not going to be chosen. She's going to have to walk back outside to her ****. Her bravado starts to melt away as she hugs herself feeling tears starting to slip down her cheeks. She doesn't want to die, but she knew it was a long shot, she can't even be mad, just disappointed, well except for at that one voice. She hopes that voice ends up castrated somehow, but otherwise she just focuses on trying to remember the good times. A slight smirk plays over her lips as she hears at least one voice choose her, "I'll be sure to remember that," she mutters to herself.

Yulia is shaking, "C... Corrupted Innocence... That doesn't sound good," she murmurs to herself as she fiddles a bit with her mask and then she gasps as another voice speaks, "P... Plague Mommy?!" she echoes her voice horrified. She turns her head downwards as she hears a voice bluntly state they don't think she has what it takes, she seems to be taking these words to heart. She wants to help her world, but she can't deny that the voices are correct. She's weak and she probably doesn't have what it takes. It sounds like the voices are going to choose her or Alianna and she momentarily wonders if she can still change her mind. Just give the win to Alianna instead of wasting everyone's time.

Esaza listens to the voices and she seems confused. She hears one of the voices talk about how a lizard once betrayed them and she is confused, "I am not this lizard?" she mutters uncertain as to why she is being held accountable for this other's crimes. She doesn't understand much, but she does understand that her name is not being spoken much, "Did I do something wrong?" she asks and looks first to the nebulous concept of the voices, then the other women and then to the guardian, but everyone is too busy with their own thoughts to answer her. She knows that her chance has been lost her dream ends here, but she doesn't understand why. She closes her eyes and starts to slowly hum a song she remembers from her childhood. It's not like it matters anymore what the voices are saying. She knows enough to realize she is not going to be chosen.

After some time you and the other voices appear to have come to a decision, though not a unanimous one. The Guardian announces that Yulia Maestra has been chosen. Yulia nearly jumps in shock and the thought of rejecting it pops into her head again, but she quickly shakes her head. The voices chose her despite everything. It would be rude of her to reject them. She makes sure she has all her stuff as she solemnly begins to ascend the stairs that will take her into the tower proper.

Meanwhile the others are escorted back outside.

A number of extra buttons appear on the website before you. If you so choose you can see what happens to the women who were rejected. Time is nothing to the tower so you can see how their entire life plays out before switching back to follow the current chosen as she enters the tower.
