I clicked me tongue. No matter how often I do the numbers, this is what I arrive at.

It won't suffice.

While we got the Leaders on our side, Crazy blue did not remain still either. Using Laurens connection with the sports club and Marel's immense funds they brought multiple factions from the lords into their fold. “Oh?” Gina looked at me with a rather smug grin. “Because for me that looks like checkmate.”

I matched her gaze, without the smile. “There is a very simple solution for our problem.”

“You. Marel wants you. If we where to give you up we can come to terms.”

There was a flicker of doubt in Gina's eyes. “You wouldn't do that.”

“I wouldn't? Why not?”

“We still have our game going. A victor has yet to be decided.”
