Chapter 40: Epilogue
The days following the sealing of the wards were hard. Jess had been given the news by Sasha, Lora, and Autumn, as the three had used the Orb of Transport that Sebastian had left behind at the inn in Cloudmere. In the lost and found.
Jess and the twins had left Oceanspell, left the house behind, and moved to a picturesque town in the far south of the Second Realm, a beautiful town called Southfalls. It had gorgeous waterfalls everywhere, and a giant lake, Belleton Lake, right by it. The weather was temperate, and the three were happy there, as Tita promised.
Sasha helped her brother’s wife and children move into Southfalls, and then she joined up with Dura, Ellie, and Lily, who were forming a new faction: the Stormcallers. They were dedicated to the protection of the Mystic Realms, and the faction grew quickly.
Thessalia continued to hunt Zahreem across the continent, but she heard a rumor that he’d sailed beyond the shore of the Seventh Realm. She eventually was recruited into the Mage Order, where she began to help out the people of the Mystic Realms.
Lora and Fay, distraught over the loss of Sebastian, moved down to Southfalls with Jess and the twins, but let them have their space to grow as a family. Lora bought a cottage just outside of town, while Fay came and went between visits to her father in the First Realm, who was relieved to see her alive. She never let him sexually harass her again.
Amaya and Brogan got married and had three children, two boys and a girl. They moved to Brogan’s hometown of Mistcairn, which is in the Third Realm, and is the sister city to Lightcairn.
Queen Reina eventually left the King of Northhall and went looking for love, eventually finding it in a orc deserter. She birthed him four litters of six orcs each.
All was right in the Realms. The civil war between species abated thanks to the efforts of the Stormcallers, and the Great Evil was held at bay by Sebastian, the hero who gave up everything to ensure the safety of his world. Forever.
