Sebastian, Dura, Lily, Fay, and Ellie set off for Northhall

Chapter 20: The Old Sorcerer

Three days later, we decided we were ready to set off. Fay had recovered from being knocked ****, and the two human siblings had decided to stay here at Norngrim. I’d gotten my shield and chestplate, and I was currently in Fay’s room, laying on the elven princess’ bed while she laid on top of me and we kissed lovingly. I’d spent lots of time kissing Fay in the last three days, and we’d gotten really close.

There was a knock.

“Are you guys dressed?” Lily sighed.

“Yes!” I called. The gorgeous redheaded centaur entered.

“We’re headed out now. If we wait any longer, it’ll be becoming autumn and it’ll be fucking cold up north.” Lily said.

“Alright. We’re already packed, right?” I asked.

“Yup.” Lily said.

“Great. Let’s head out.” I said.

———

Three hours later, I had my arms around Fay’s waist, and the two of us were astride a powerful stallion. The dwarves rode ponies, but they kept normal sized horses for their visitors. Lily was carrying Ellie, and I had Dura’s arms around me, and her amazing tits were against my back.

As we went, I decided to send a message to Jess, using my green jewel.

HEY JESS. STILL ALIVE, AS YOU CAN HEAR. THE PARTY’S ON HORSEBACK AND WE’RE HEADING TOWARDS NORTHHALL. ARE YOU THERE YET? I transmitted, and then focused on steering Darkhorse again. The name was more interesting in dwarvish, apparently, but I wasn’t a dwarvish speaker.

“Who’s house is that?” Lily pointed. I looked and saw a friendly looking cottage just off the path. I pulled Darkhorse to a stop and tied him to a tree, and slid down. Dura joined me, but Fay stayed perched atop Darkhorse. I ventured to the door and knocked. It was answered quickly by a kindly looking old man.

“Uh, hello.” I grinned.

“Hello! Are you all mages?” he asked.

“No...” Dura shook her head. The man tsked.

“I’m Ebras, an ancient mage. Are any among you mages?” he asked.

“I’m a blade mage.” I lifted my hand.

“Ah! Excellent, come in, come in. I am prepared to offer you incredible training. Your party can wait outside.” Ebras said, and ushered me inside. It was a quaint little room, with a bookcase up against the wall, a closed door presumedly leaning to his bedroom and kitchen and stuff. There was a little table with two stools. Ebras sat at one, and I sat at the other.

“Place your hands on this stone.” he said, and placed a chunk of clear crystal on the table, and I obeyed. It flared a bright violet.

“Are you wearing a magical artifact?” Ebras asked.

“Yes. I have a ring that was **** onto me by Zahreem.” I admitted.

“I see.” he said, and waved a hand over the crystal.

“Ok, touch it now.” he instructed. I did, and the crystal began to swirl a lovely shade of gold the color of Jess’ gold eye.

“You are indeed very powerful. The most common color is blue. To be a gold, well... almost unheard of.” Ebras remarked. I removed my hands and he touched the crystal with both hands and it swirled with gold like it had for me.

“You’re a gold, too?” I asked.

“Yes.” he said.

For the next hour, Ebras trained me in several different magical abilities.

“Whoa.” I grinned.

“Lots of XP and knowledge has been imparted on you. Use it wisely.” Ebras nodded. I left the cottage and found my party lounging.

“Hey. What happened?” Fay asked, touching my cheek worriedly.

“He taught me lots of magic, and I leveled up.” I explained.

“What kind of magic?” Ellie asked. I quickly cast Shield and a huge glowing energy shield appeared in front of me.

“Kind of makes that shield you just bought useless.” Dura remarked.

“No, this shield only blocks magical attacks. If I’m attacked by someone with a sword, the shield will be useful.” I said.

“Oh.” Dura said. I swung back up on Darkhorse.

“Ready to go?” I grinned. Fay and Dura climbed back up onto Darkhorse and Lily knelt down for Ellie to mount up, and we set off along the road.

Arriving at Northhall
