Chapter 100 by Miriam Miriam

Do you head over to the studio to talk in person?

Go to the studio to talk

"Alright", you say. You're not eager to have this conversation face-to-face, but perhaps it's the most reasonable action to take. At the least you can let them know why this isn't working out for you in person.

"Great", Hoskins replies. "Come on down here to my office and we'll have a talk". You agree to the suggestion and let him know you'll be right over before ending the call. You're just about ready to head out when there's suddenly a knock on your door.

Fuck. It's probably the landlord again, coming over to remind you that your next rent is due tomorrow... and you still owe him for last month. This is really the last thing you need right now. It makes you feel completely miserable knowing that all the cash that you earned yesterday will vanish the moment you open that door.

Instead you decide to sit on the couch, waiting for the knocking to stop. You might be able to pay your landlord now, but how are you going to continue doing that after you quit your job? You really don't want to lose your apartment. The knocking stops after a minute, but just to be sure you wait a few more. Then open the door carefully, looking around to see if the coast is clear. It is, and you hurry out the door, run down the stairs and head towards the bus stop.

You arrive at the studio half an hour later. You enter and walk inside, turning left to knock on the door of Hoskins' office. "Come in", you hear, although the voice doesn't have Hoskins' usual boom to it. You step inside and to your surprise you see old man Greg instead, the real studio boss that you signed your contract with. He's sitting in Hoskins' large chair, gesturing for you to step inside. You notice he is wearing his false teeth today when he smiles softly at you.

"So... Marlow", Greg says, holding both his hands out towards you with his palms facing up. "Tell me why you want to quit", he says as you step into the room and take a seat on the opposite side of the desk.

"Because it's degrading", you answer. You can think of more reasons, but decide this is likely the primary one. But Greg simply shakes his head at your answer, as if not believing you.

"Marlow, Marlow. I can tell that you love it," Greg says; suddenly making you wonder if he has seen each of your recordings so far. The very thought makes you feel slightly awkward and **** in front of him.

"I don't!", you quickly object. "It's degrading and I don't like it at all!". You feel like you have to press the point further. "Is that all I'm good for? Just some holes to dump cum in?"

"You're putting words in my mouth", Greg says, flashing you a toothy grin. You stare back at him, incredulously. "Look... I know you're a smart girl", he continues, perhaps trying not to offend you any further. "But after your first audition with Red you still chose to do this job. Why?"

"I...", you say, fumbling for an answer. "Because I have basic needs...", you begin. You were trying to steer the conversation towards your financial problems but accidentally seemed to have played straight into Greg's hand.

"Exactly!", Greg interrupts. "You're a human being with needs. We're all humans with needs. And the whole premise of this industry is to provide both our employees and our customers with those basic needs. It's really very simple."

"I... actually meant that I need to pay rent and such", you say, desperately trying to correct the apparent confusion. "And maybe I could finish up my study some day..."

"We pay you good money and offer you heaps of freedom, Marlow", Greg says, apparently very eager to ease your concerns and keep you on board. "As I said, this is a service industry. Nobody here is looking to **** you or ruin your life. If anything, we're trying to make your life easier. We're paying you to fuck and get fucked. It's really not all that deep."

"It feels pretty deep", you say, subtly referring to the size of the cocks that Greg apparently expects you to continue taking.

"And it looks great on camera", Greg laughs. Of course he's dirty-minded enough to catch your reference. "You can really support this industry, Marlow", he continues. "I can tell that you have what it takes to become a star. To make your mark doing something you love and can develop a real passion for. And I promise you that you'll earn a good buck doing it".

"But what if it's just really not my passion?", you ask in a soft voice. This conversation is not at all going the way you imagined it.

Greg chuckles softly. "Sometimes a passion needs to be developed. You've worked here for only a day, and I really don't think you're done with this industry. I think you can go a very long way if you're willing to commit to it"

Does Greg have a point?
