You are Marlow, an attractive young woman who is down on her luck. You're currently not attending college, having decided to skip a year to sort some personal matters out. You had hoped to travel the world, but this had proven a little too optimistic considering your financial situation. At the moment you have trouble even paying the rent. You did have a job as a cashier at a grocery store for a while, but it was barely enough. Worse, you had a falling out with your former boss and any satisfaction you had in working at the store was completely ruined. You weren't fired, but decided to call it quits yourself and find a new job instead.

Unfortunately, you hadn't had much luck with that in the last month either. The last of your money was spent, and you are already a month late on your rent; with the next payment due in two days. Your landlord was prone to kicking you out any moment now and you had little desire to move back in with your parents. , you've opted to respond to any and all job ads in a hastened effort to find something that pays well enough and seems worthy of your attention.

One day you noticed an ad by a company called 'Softsilk Studios' requesting an actress for minor movies and online videos. You'd never even heard of the film studio, but it was apparently just on the other side of town and you figured you had very little to lose. You sent them a mail telling them you had some minor experience in acting, and included one of your cutest pictures as a an attachment. Assuming your chances of getting the job were low anyway you quickly continued responding to other ads.

Much to your surprise you received a mail back the same day asking you to come over for an interview tomorrow. You had to report to an office in a somewhat shady part of town, but your current need for cash was so that you just couldn't pass this up. Besides, you figured could always just say no if this job turned out to be a little too sketchy.
