20 years later

Over time things changed as people went their own ways. Ciri for the first few weeks after the event was gone, her father informed she was dead and Geralt with Triss and Yennefer all worried, however those few weeks she was gone she had returned and found her way to Zantano who in the human world wasn’t hard to miss, she spent a lot of her time with him as Zantano informed her and persuaded her to use this time to relax from what would be a long and mentally tiring debates between the sorceresses, Geralt and her in what she should do next however eventually like all good things her presence was known around the local villages and they all started to look for her and she was later met by Yennefer who hugging her snapped hurt by her not seeing when she had came back but Ciri explained what she was doing and how Zantano pointed out the problems that will now be raised with her being back, so she took time away from it to relax and free. They spent the next few days together where Ciri teases Yennefer about her and Zantano being the “Perfect parents” and that’s what all the villagers kept thinking but things soon turned south when Geralt turned up and from there peace had ceased.

Over the next few years Geralt with Triss went their separates from Ciri and leaving her to hunt “monsters” like she always wanted. Yennefer retreated into the shadows and away from people, Fringilla sort to find a form of sanctuary whilst Kiera with Margarita tried to restart the Lodge and Philippa by all account tried to start another power move that went south and she was on the run once again that provided hunters with another problem because tracking Philippa was no easy task. During this time Skillege found at stability and unity against foes who struggled to navigate the rough seas and struggled to establish any foothold from the rough seas. The other empires went to war with each other in greater lengths and Radovid and his cult in disguise of religion saw this as an opportunity persecuting the outcasts and Ciri’s father wasn’t much better, Zantano spent more time freeing Fringilla, Kiera and Margarita from prison then he did looking for a lover. He himself was sentenced to burn at the stake but after seeing that he wouldn’t burn he laughed as he walked free sending Radovid into hiding whilst Emhyr tried to poison him but he simply drank the bottle and burped in his face. When Zantano tried to search for love it was empty, women wanted to be with but it was simply for advantages he would give or for some other trivial reason, so as the years passed away he accepted he was there for the long run, he took an similar role as Geralt and Ciri before but also meddled in business when he could and pissed off the other religions who tried to denounce him and his kind.

Letter to Zantano:

My dearest Zantano,

It’s important that I speak with you, troubling news has come to my ears. Over the weeks I have lost contact with the sorceresses from the lodge. I was due to meet Fringilla to help with a contract but she never turned up and tracking her down it reveals she was due to meet up with Keira and Margarita from the Lodge but they have also been disappeared. I’ve tried Yennefer, Triss and even Philippa but to have no success. I’m trying to find them and you are the only one I know who can help. Meet me usual spot, tomorrow?
