Is he left alone?
No
As he made his way to the bar, he had to cross a particular table that was filled with some crude looking bottom feeders. They looked more like they belonged in some hideout preying on a road rather than in a sanctified city. A fellow at this particular table decided it was a smart move to extend a leg out and get in Marius’s path.
Rather cliche in terms of disrespectful displays...
Marius just ignored the man and stepped over the leg, making efforts to not even touch the appendage. Apparently the scoundrel took exception to that...
“Oi, freak...hol’ up.”
Marius narrowed his eyes and just kept moving forward. However he was stopped when a hand came to his shoulders to really get his attention.
“Was talkin’ to ya, freak. Think I didn’t notice ya rough in’ up me leg? Men gotta work get a livin’, ya know? Not very polite.”
Marius had no time to mess around with drunkards trying to get a shake down. He knew this song and dance wha twitch threatening to get inquisitors or stirring up a mob.
The Rune Blade just fished into his coin purse and pulled out a couple gold coins and threw it at the ruffian.
“Whatever is the cost for the leg, and another to shut you up...I got important business to take care of.”
With that, Marius jerked his shoulder away from the confused man and continued on his way to the counter.
Does the man persist?

Conflicts of Divine Interest
When Pantheons Misbehave
The world of Aesyr is a world of divinity and conflict. Three sides with their own believes collide in battles of war and political intrigue. But one thing is consistent...the ever evolving pantheon. The gods switch out their own rulers in a cosmic lottery. This year, it just so happens to have all the gods and goddesses of lust and conquest to be victorious.
