Right away?

You knew that having to perform would be a direct consequence of signing the contract, you just didn't expect to have to start immediately. "R-Right away?", you ask , suddenly feeling uneasy again.

"Well, you seem very eager to start, and I like that", Greg tells you, seemingly very content with your behavior so far. "Most girls need a few days to decide. So I figured, why not give you a little introduction and some practice straight away?".

You stare at him with wide eyes. Perhaps you did come across as a little too eager. You barely took the time to read the contract through before you signed it. Anyway, you don't have the heart to tell him that you were just very **** for money, so you just nod instead. Your mind races; anticipating how you'll be bent over a table again in a few minutes. It's all going a little too fast for your liking - just like the day before.

"Of course, the director will explain everything and answer any remaining questions you have", Greg adds as he presses the intercom button. "Hoskins, arrange a set for our lovely new hire! I'm sending her over!", he barks into it.

You nod slowly, and Greg walks over to shake your hand before placing a hand on your shoulder and moving you back in the direction of the double doors. "Good luck, Marlow. And don't forget to enjoy yourself. You and I will talk again in a week to discuss how your scenes are shaping up", he says as he holds the door open for you. "Of course, you'll be having your own... meetings with the cast in the meanwhile, so I'm sure you'll get to know everyone. And of course I'll be keeping a close eye on you". He smirks and winks at you, but you're not exactly comforted by his last statement.

"Oh. Okay. Well, thanks for all of your help.", you quickly say as he firmly nudges you out of his office.

"Of course! You're a Rising Star now! The future of the company. I'm always here to help!", he tells you while proving the exact opposite by shoving you out the door. "Goodbye Marlow!"

"Goodbye", you reply, but he has already closed the doors behind you. You stand in the hallway again, unsure how to feel and realizing that you weren't even told where to go. You decide to walk towards the elevator, and push the button to call it. It arrives quickly, and you step inside.

Judging by the elevator panel, there seem to be four different floors in this studio.
