Becky recounts her scouting mission

"It's dark in there but, it's even worse than you'd think. It get's dimmer the deeper into the cave you go, and there's a junction. I went through a hole, or like a secret tunnel. And it was worse, it was advanced darkness, I couldn't think." Becky spoke up, after she had eaten. It was the first thing she'd said to her compatriots, and she was finally ready to give an intelligence report.

"Good. Excellent. Take it easy." Fuu gave simple commands, and mulled over what to do in her head. One of her group was deeply troubled, and she considered scrapping the whole plan because of it. However, she also considered the risks. And all that she could conclude was that her team would be safe as long as she was there to protect them. "Tell me about the darkness."

"Well, it wasn't right. I don't think it was dark because of light or anything. It may I have been magic, but I guess nothing I've ever come across because I couldn't feel it at all. It was just dark. Darker than dark, and I saw visions in it."

"I would have to agree with you, I want to check it out for myself. But I trust your experience, Becky and if you don't know, then I expect it to be out of the ordinary." Fuu rubbed her temple's and recalled any curse that could possibly give visions in blinding dark.

"Maybe it has nothing to do with the gnolls."

"Could be, but it makes no difference to me where evil comes from. Becky, what else did you see?"

"Oh , yeah the crossroads. There were four ways, the one I came form, obviously, and one led to a dark, grotto sort of place. Skeeved me out, but I'd take that any day over the crack I went through. Another smelled and sounded like sex. And straight ahead I remember was a throne room sort of place." Becky had gone light headed and was shivering as she spoke.
