"And then, once they've beamed you up into the spacecraft, there's a robot that takes all your clothes off and they start to perform medical experiments on you !" Debbi and Harry were in the plush offices of the producers in LA, discussing the script for the proposed movie.

She was enjoying her break away from the attentions of the British press. She had already made a second appearance on the Late Night chat show and it had gone much better. The host had apologised beforehand about the previous occasion, when she had been more or less ignored in favour of her more prestigious co-stars. This time there had been a chance for her personality to come through as she was quizzed about the Bimbo WAG phenomenon, which was all novel to an American audience. They also joked about on screen nudity and about her accent, since she shared the sofa with the renowned rap star DollaXL and both of them were struggling to understand what the other was saying ! They seemed to hit it off well enough though. Dolla said he had seen Ape Girl and thought it was dope, which Debbi took to mean that he liked it.

"So where are these aliens from ?" she asked the producers.

"The planet Zog."

"Which is where exactly ?"

"Oh, somewhere in the outer reaches of the Milky Way." They then discussed Debbi's speaking role, since in Ape Girl all she had been required to do was to grunt and gibber ! "You've seen my show reel from the soap ?" she asked. "Yes, very impressive" the producers lied. "But I'm no good at mimicking accents. I mean I can't pretend to be American, I can only be myself."

"We'll write it into the script that you're over here from England. There's only really dialogue in the opening establishing scenes anyway, plus a little at the end when you're rescued by Jared. In between, you communicate with the aliens through telepathy."

"And I'm in the nude all the time I'm on the spaceship ?"

"Pretty much. Is that a problem ?"

"No, no. Not at all."

"So what did you think ?" asked Harry, as they sat in the limo taking them back to the hotel. "I think it sounds as if it'll be the biggest turkey since Thanksgiving" said Debbi. "I can't disagree but it's really just an action movie vehicle for Jared Cooper and he's box office at the moment" Harry replied. He then launched into anecdotes about countless major stars who had been involved in terrible movies. "Anyway, we don't have to decide yet. These projects don't always come to fruition."

"So what else have I got scheduled ?"

"Well, Playmate are definitely interested, especially after the chat show the other night. Talking of which, DollaXL's people have been in touch and he wants you in the video for his next single."

"Wearing not very much I'm guessing ?" laughed Debbi. "A gold lame bikini was mentioned I think" said Harry !
