Is it finally over?
It is
This time it seemed to have done the trick. More stakes were through the beast’s hide and it laid on the ground, struggling to get back up. With every moment that passes, it’s movements we’re becoming weaker and calmer. It seemed that the traps were doing their job of bleeding the creature out.
Marius sighed to himself as he walked up to the griffin, waiting until it could barely move and it was safe to approach. He looked down at the creature, into its eyes, and studied it.
“I am sorry...I really am...” The creature’s pained and frantic eyes looked up to Marius, unable to comprehend what he was saying. He continued, “I wish you had a more dignified ending, but I have a job to do...this is the most I can offer.”
With that he raised his sword and stabbed at the beast’s neck. The most he can do is shorten the time of suffering the griffin had to endure.
Eventually, it was dead.
Marius wasted no time in collecting a trophy from the griffin and began his hike back. Hopefully this would be sufficient to the hunter and he could get back to his original task. There’s a murderer to catch.
What says the hunter?

Conflicts of Divine Interest
When Pantheons Misbehave
The world of Aesyr is a world of divinity and conflict. Three sides with their own believes collide in battles of war and political intrigue. But one thing is consistent...the ever evolving pantheon. The gods switch out their own rulers in a cosmic lottery. This year, it just so happens to have all the gods and goddesses of lust and conquest to be victorious.
