What does Bedevalus witness next?
A gathering of all of the elements
"Now, I summon all of my daughters to represent each of Earth's elements! You have already met Gaia Daughter and Fishfreak-"
"W-Wait, eVEN you call ME FISH-freeeak? ShoULDn'T you have aNOTH-ther name for ME as my CREEE-Ator?" Fishfreak looked dubious as she scratched her chin with a long claw, formed from the jagged teeth of some deep-sea fish.
"Do not concern yourself with that detail, my Sea. As I was saying, everyone, please, greet the rest of Earth's elements. From the sky... Thunder Head!"
On his imprisoning throne, Bedevalus tilted his head upward, watching the clouds gather around Mother Earth's face. The clouds darkened quickly, then released a burst of lightning, followed by a rumble of thunder. In the spot where the lightning had struck, a new woman appeared, with brilliant blonde hair and the proportions of some American porn star. Her garb was rather similar to the one Gaia Daughter wore while transformed, only without the mask and black in color. "I command the air, the clouds, and every spark of lightning from the sky! None among us is more powerful than I am!" The woman placed one hand upon her hip as she boasted and noted with approval the excitement on Bedevalus' face, which she misinterpreted as his being immediately smitten, rather than his eagerness to try his sword against a being that controlled the power of lightning.
"From below the Earth... Hot Mantle!"
The next woman erupted from beneath the ground in a burst of magma, creating an impressive, red-hot plume in front of each of the contestants, as though a miniature volcano had gone off. Bedevalus wanted to point out that Hot Mantle was not, in fact, coming from "below the Earth," seeing as they weren't on Earth. Out from the pillar of magma, the next woman stepped, a dark brown being with red flames for hair and a cocky smirk. "I'm fired up!" Bedevalus was more interested in her mastery over fire than he was her heaving bosom or her wide hips, which were covered immodestly in strategically placed gem-stones.
"Mother Earth, I would note that Hot Mantle appears to have some dominion over the Earth's crust and its minerals, which I would have assumed were part of my blessings..."
"Do not concern yourself with that detail, my Earth. And finally, with the power of space itself... Celestial Body!"
The sky and the atmosphere themselves seemed to part, revealing the darkness of space, lit only by stars in the sudden veil of night. A tremendous meteor hurtled from the horizon point, then smashed nearby Bedevalus. That space-rock cooled and then uncurled, revealing the form of a woman with pale, ethereal white skin and impossibly translucent hair of rainbow colors, as though it were a rainbow itself. Her eyes were two dark voids, like the well of space. She opened her mouth, but no words came out... it was like a vacuum that absorbed sound. She seemed to somehow manipulate the space around each of them... it was as though she was a smaller version of the Reality Crystal itself! Fighting her could be like challenging the tower once more! Bedevalus nearly salivated...
"M-Mother, if I may, Space doesn't really seem to be something Mother Earth should have dominion over-" Gaia Daughter murmured, looking between the newcomer and Bedevalus. She could feel her chance at scoring with the knight slipping away... Scoring a fight, that is. It was the chance to defend Earth's honor and protect that she wanted, after all.
"... She is more like a step-daughter. Regardless, I have assembled each of the elements. It is now time to begin the contest!"
"Ha ha ha! I'm actually a little fired up now! You ladies all seem very powerful." Bedevalus clapped his hands from his seat, wearing a smile that set each of the elemental daughters improbably blushing and fidgeting. Realizing that, he reeled himself in and tried to deny his chivalrous impulse to compliment opponents. "So... what say we skip that contest and I'll just take you all on in combat instead?"
The others all laughed, as if that was simply an impossibility. The one called Thunder Head grinned and threw an arm around his shoulders, pushing her soft bosom against his cheek as she did so. "You've got a lot of spunk, boy! But don't deny us sisters the chance to settle the score!"
Bedevalus grumbled and closed his eyes, feeling his eyebrow twitching. "Oh bloody hell, just begin the contest already..."
What sort of contest will the elements compete in?
