"It's Not An Exploitation Movie !"

Debbi was in bed with Lawrence and Lesley as she filled them in about the exciting new development, whereby she would be featured in the major new movie featuring the megastars Magnus Flood and Hazel Chapman. Lesley was leafing through the script. "Are you ok with this bit where you have to pee in the corridor ?" she asked. Debbi laughed. "As long as they give me enough to drink beforehand and don't expect too many retakes. I can't just pee to order ! But I'm sure it will all be filmed very tastefully" she hoped.

"Are you in it all the way through ?" wondered Lawrence, who had not yet read the script. "Not as much as you might think" Debbi replied. "It's not an exploitation movie. The main thrust is the conflict between the Magnus and Hazel characters who clash about how to treat me. They have some kind of back story too and there's a 'will they, won't they' element to it with them."

"That's a bit disappointing" thought Lesley. "Oh but I've got four or five extended set pieces where I can really let rip, they filled me in on all that" Debbi responded. "I'm pretty sure people will come away from the movie with some of those uppermost in their minds" she laughed. "I've got to let my pubes grow, 'cos this character wouldn't have been shaving in the jungle. But they said I could still shave my legs and pits, 'cos people won't be focusing on that kind of detail !"

"That's a relief" chuckled Lawrence. "Is there any other preparation you've got to do ?"

"Yeah, I've got to have training sessions with an army instructor 'cos it's a very physical part, lots of climbing and clambering."

"Can't they get a body double ?" queried Lesley. "That would kind of defeat the object since I'm naked throughout the film. If they bothered with a body double, she might as well do the entire thing. I only got the part because no established actress would touch it with a barge pole ! And 'cos I'm kinda known now, at least a little bit."

"Anything else ?"

"I've got some method acting lessons. I don't have any dialogue, only grunts. Oh, and I say my first words at the very end of the film that's supposed to melt the viewer's heart ! But I have to convey emotion through facial expressions and body language."

"Sounds challenging ?"

"Yeah, but it should be a hoot too ! I'm sorry I couldn't get you involved Les but there's no costume for you to design" Debbi laughed. "You can do my gown for the premiere !"
