Mary finds Elizabeth

[Mary's POV]

Mary texts Catherine again.

Mary: got a car. Following Jade. Will text more later

Catherine: got it. follow Jade. Jessica and I are going to swing past the mansion, see if anything is doing there. don't want to put all our eggs in the Jade basket

Mary chuckles. She slows down when she sees Jade's damaged coupe up ahead. She keeps a cautious distance. Why are they going to the mansion? Mary wonders.

Mary follows Jade for about half an hour on the highway, thankful that Jade doesn't make any stops for snacks. In retrospect, Mary is also thankful that she had encountered the minivan, and not Jade. Jade slows, taking an exit. Mary, keeping her distance, follows Jade. I really hope that she hasn't made me Mary thinks. She sends her location to Catherine again just in case. Mary follows Jade down increasingly more deserted roads, until Jade turns up a large driveway and off the road. Mary can't see where the driveway leads. Remembering the location, she drives on for about a mile, parking the car on the side of the road. She'll approach on foot.

Mary walks through the woods, staying parallel to the driveway. Through the trees, a large house comes into view. She approaches, getting a good view of the front door. Several cars are parked in front. Mary ducks when she sees a van pulling up the driveway.

The van parks in the curricular driveway. Two women (Thralls? Hybrids? Mary wonders) exit the front of the van, and open the back doors. They begin to roughly pull women out of the back of the van, blindfolded and handcuffed. Meal delivery, Mary shudders.

The front door of the house opens. Diana steps out, and looks over the chattel. Mary can't hear what she says, but the captives are prodded inside the house. Diana looks around, then closes the door.

I need a closer look Mary thinks. She darts from bush to bush, getting closer to the house, trying to stay out of the light.

Peeking into a window on the ground floor, she sees Diana devouring one of the captives. The girl is tied to the wall as Diana bites into her neck and breasts. Mary feels her fangs descend as she watches. She salivates when she sees the blood drip been the girl's exposed breasts. Mary forces herself to look away, and keeps moving. A bunch of rooms are empty and dark. She comes to a window outside what must be a study. There, Elizabeth sits behind a desk.

Elizabeth! Mary thinks excitedly, fumbling for her phone.

In front of Elizabeth, two figures are seated that Mary doesn't recognize. She doesn't think they are vampires, but they sip from glasses of blood. Maybe hybrids? she thinks.

"Peeping, are we?" a voice says directly behind Mary. Mary freezes, dropping her phone.

Jade...
