The cave

The cave looks pretty tempting to you. As the rain starts to really pour down on you, you rush to the cave as fast as you can. Its a little bit away from the road but you should be able to find your way back reasonably easily. You approach the dark cave and cross the threshold into its protection from the elements. The cave looker smaller from where you had spotted it. Now that you're inside you take your bearings.

The mouth of the cave was somewhat small but it opens up into a wide passage deeper in. The ground has a steady downward incline thats just steep enough to be uncomfortable to walk on. Smooth stone lines the walls and coarse dirt coat the grouns beneath you, practically begging you to slip on. The cave seems to go further downwards for awhile. Far away down the cave you can see a faint light.
