Chapter 108 by Actiaeon Actiaeon

Who is in which group?

You and Yasmin, Rachel and Haruka

You all float over towards the airlock door, everyone following you; everyone has gotten ready to enter the wreck, gathering supplies, weapons, and storage for any salvage. You are holding the two plasma rifles, while Rachel prepares to open the final airlock door; while the airlock drains the air from the room. The others wait behind you two, waiting for the airlock to finish and for the door to open.

"I'll go with Yasmin, Rachel you go with Haruka," you command.

You didn't want Yasmin to come along, she is pregnant should you have **** her to remain behind; she should go with you, you need to protect her and your unborn child.

"OK," Rachel nods, taking a rifle from you.

The airlock vacuumed, and the door opened, Rachel and Haruka head off towards the lower decks on the left.

"Everyone, stay on the comms," you say, "we don't know what we could find."

"Got it," your sister says, comms opening.

"OK, Yasmin let's go check main storage, see if anything survived," you tell her.

You both begin to head towards the primary storage, passing by openings into space, and the grey ribbed corridors.

"What the!" you hear over the comms, it is your sister.

"What is it!?" you ask, concerned.

"There is a whole bunch of dead bodies over here," she says.

"I don't feel so great," you hear Haruka say.

"Haruka don't vomit," you tell her, "You will drown in it. It will cover your face in zero-g."

"Take a breath," you hear your sister say.

You look at Yasmin, worried. You both continue onward, now more worried and concerned about what you might find. Soon you come across your own batch of floating dead corpses, the corridor is practically jammed with them, each one frozen in a petrified scream.

"What could they have died from?" you ask, Yasmin.

"I don't know exactly, but they may have been exposed to the vacuum of space, judging from the swelling," she says, pushing through.

"How long," you ask.

"There is no way to know, bodies here wouldn't decompose," they could have been dead long before us.

"Uh, OK," you say, pushing one aside.

Do you make it to storage?
