It felt so wrong; it felt so right...

This is it, thought Buffy as she saw Drusilla run toward her. Drusilla is going to kill me. And here I am in chains, unable to move anyway. Perhaps if --

But before she could think of anything further, Drusilla was upon her and -- Wait! Was she kissing her mouth? And inserting her cold tongue between Buffy's lips?

She found herself pushing Drusilla away -- and then realized that the chains that held her had been unlocked. Did Drusilla do that? While she was kissing her? Why?

"What's the matter, Buffy?" asked Drusilla. "Did I come on too strong this time?"

"You could have killed me, Drusilla," said Buffy, still embarrassed by the way her nipples appear to have hardened even more after the brief encounter with Drusilla.

"But I didn't," said Drusilla.

"You could have torn my throat out," said Buffy.

"But I didn't," said Drusilla.

"You could have -- Why did you kiss me anyway?" asked Buffy.

"Why not?" responded Drusilla.

"No, seriously, why?" asked Buffy. "More importantly, why did you unchain me?"

"More fun this way, I guess," said Drusilla. "Does it matter? I like doing nice things for the people I love."

"You don't do nice, Drusilla," said Buffy.

"Yes, I do," said Drusilla. "I just don't do it very often. Did you like the kiss?"

"I beg your pardon?" asked Buffy.

"The kiss," said Drusilla. "Did you like it? Oh, right. You humans don't like it when your lovers sound too needy. I get that."

"You are not my lover," said Buffy.

"I could be... Mistress Buffy," said Drusilla.

"Not that again," said Buffy.

"Perhaps you'd be more comfortable if we reverse roles," said Drusilla. "I play the mistress and you play the servant. Such games can be fun, you know. They're a lot like life and that's what's appealing."

"Whatever, Drusilla," said Buffy. "If you don't mind, I wanna get out of here before Spike gets back."

"You don't want to stay?" asked Drusilla.

"No, Drusilla," said Buffy.

"Not even for a little while?" asked Drusilla.

"No, Drusilla," said Buffy.

"I could always kiss you again," said Drusilla.

"No thanks, Drusilla," said Buffy.

"I could kiss you in places your past boyfriends would never dare touch," said Drusilla. "Plus I have the obvious advantage of not having to breathe."

"Why should that mean anything to me?" asked Buffy.

Drusilla just looked at her with an expression of pity on her face and said, "Oh, Buffy... Not even once? Your human boyfriends have a lot to learn about the art of pleasing a woman."

"What are you talking about?" asked Buffy.

"Well, you know what they say," said Drusilla. "Once you go vamp, you never go --"

"Not interested, Drusilla," said Buffy.

"Very well," said Drusilla. "Then I suppose there's only one more thing I could do to show my real feelings for you."

"You don't have any real feelings for me, Drusilla," said Buffy. "You've demonstrated that many times."

Drusilla just smiled, reached behind her back and started undoing her dress. Once the dress fell to the floor around her legs, Drusilla, clad only in black stockings and black Victorian-era underwear, stepped out of the dress and kicked it over to a still naked Buffy.

"There," said Drusilla. "Your first present from your devoted little servant girl. Don't ever let it be said that I never did anything nice for you, Buffy."
