A surprise appearance

Sally's eyes fly open. Her entire body aches, and her head is pounding. She is groggy and disoriented, laying. On the floor. She sits up and rubs her stiff neck, shivering.

Slowly, her memories return to her. She remembers the previous night.

Sally and Jessica sit together on the bed in the master bedroom. They hear a scream from the living room. Jade must be feasting on the mean I brought for Jessica Sally thinks.

"Sally... I'm sorry... We weren't careful enough" Jessica says, tears forming in her eyes.

"What will happen to me?" Sally asks dejectedly. We can fight Jade. Or run away together. Something, Jessica! Sally thinks, but doesn't say.

Jessica pulls Sally in for a hug. "Elizabeth wants me to drain you in front of her. I won't let that happen" Jessica says, stroking Sally's back. She kisses Sally, softly at first, and then passionately. Sally kisses her back. Despite... All of this... It still feels to good.

Jessica breaks the kiss. "Sally. We are going to run away together. Just you and me. I love you." Jessica says intently, gazing into Sally's eyes. Sally feels a calmness descend over her. I knew it! she thinks contentedly.

"I love you too, Jessica. So much." Sally responds.

"Before we leave, you need to go to sleep. I am going to bite you. Okay?" Jessica asks. "When you wake up, we'll be together, far from here". Yes... Jessica and me.... Together.

Jessica leans in, and whispers into Sally's ear: "Sally. You need to listen to me carefully. I am going to turn you, as discreetly as I can. When you wake up I'll be gone. Don't look for me... Get as far from here as you can, and lay low. This is goodbye. Do you understand?"

Sally nods. Jessica cuts her breast just below the nipple and presses Sally's face to her breast, holding the girl tightly. Sally kisses, then sucks on the breast. Jessica's rich blood trickles into her mouth and down her throat. Sally sucks harder... She wants more.

They hear another scream from the living room. Jade is dragging out her attack on the poor girl.

"Are you ready?" Jessica asks.

Sally nods, and brushes her hair off of her shoulder. Jessica leans in and kisses Sally's neck. Sally moans. Jessica bites down. Sally yelps once but then resumes moaning. Jessica grabs a fistful of Sally's hair, yanking her head back as she feeds from Sally's neck. Jessica swallows mouthful after mouthful of Sally's exquisite blood. Sally's eyelids droop, and then close. Sally has lost consciousness, but Jessica continues gulping her blood. Sally's heart weakens and then stops. Everything fades to black.

Sally stands up, her stiff muscles fighting her, and looks in the mirror. She is amazed at her transformation. Her waist is narrower, her breasts have swelled. Her skin is tighter and several shades paler. She admires her full red lips, and her thick hair. Sally opens her mouth: no fangs yet. Her clothes from before are ill-fitting, but will have to do for now.

I need blood she thinks, her head pounding. She moves to leave the penthouse, looking back wistfully at what might have been.
