Demons are not a girl's best friend

"What the hell, Kathy?" said Buffy-in-Faith as she frantically tugged at the handcuffs that Kathy had just used to secure her to the bar.

"I'm sorry, Rose," said Kathy, "but you're better off this way. You obviously were determined to get involved in my business and quite frankly, I can't allow that to happen."

"Allow what to happen?" asked Faith-in-Buffy, suddenly noticing the odd interaction between Kathy and Buffy-in-Faith. "And what did you do to B?"

"I had to do it, Buffy," said Kathy. "She was going to sell you out to the Watchers Council."

"I thought you were a representative of the Watchers Council," said Faith-in-Buffy.

"I told you before that I'm not," said Kathy. "But that guy over there is!"

Kathy pointed to some person behind Faith-in-Buffy's back and when Faith-in-Buffy turned to look, she picked up a metal ashtray from the bar and hit Faith-in-Buffy on the back of the head with it. Faith-in-Buffy went down like a sack of flour.

"I can't believe how easy that was," said Kathy.

Then she bent down to pick up the naked Faith-in-Buffy in a fireman's carry, only to turn and see Buffy-in-Faith standing in front of her.

"How did you -- ?" Kathy started to ask.

Buffy-in-Faith just smiled and held up a broken set of handcuffs. "I guess they don't make them like they used to. Now put Faith down or else there's going to be trouble."

"Are you kidding?" asked Kathy. "First off, you're Faith. The blonde I'm carrying is Buffy. I thought you knew that. Second, there's no way I'm leaving Buffy here after all the trouble I went through to get her. I have plans for her and no power on Earth can stop me from carrying out those plans."

Just then, a young one-armed blonde woman wearing a green dress entered the front entrance of the Bronze accompanied by a gray-suited male companion. She took out a metal badge and said quite loudly with a quaint British accent, "ATTENTION, PEOPLE! WE TWO ARE FROM THE U.S. MARSHALS OFFICE AND WE'RE HERE TO PICK UP A DANGEROUS FUGITIVE!"

The woman in green looked around the club a bit and then pointed to the naked blonde in Kathy's arms. "AND THERE SHE IS!"
