Sofia

Jessica spots an alluring siren in the middle of the dance floor. Black curly hair and big brown eyes. Her breasts are full, with a narrow waist leading to swelling hips. She wears a top and shorts so scant she might as well be in a bra and panties. I've been a good girl this week, Jessica thinks, I deserve a treat.

Jessica walks up to the girl and cups her sex, kissing her on the mouth. The girl pulls back in shock. Jessica leans forward and enthralls the girl, pointing at the door, and grabbing the girl's hand. She leads the human off of the dancefloor, towards the back exit, into an empty alley behind the club.

Jessica pushes the girl against the brick wall. "I'm going to drain you" she says, one of the few phrases she's learned in Portuguese so far. She shows her fangs to the frightened girl. "Meu Deus" the girl gasps.

Jessica smiles. In a flash, she sinks her fangs into the girl's throat, a hand covering her mouth. Blood pulses down Jessica's throat as she growls softly into the girl's neck. The girl is screaming into Jessica's hand. She feels a presence behind her, and spins around, pinning the girl to the wall by her throat. She sees an elegantly dressed woman in a slinky evening dress, her hair and jewelry impeccable. Jessica hisses and bares her teeth, as blood pours down the girl's chest.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt your meal, child" the woman says warmly, with a vaguely Central European accent, flashing a set of fangs of her own at Jessica.

Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit Jessica's brain screams in alarm, Elizabeth found me! She feels a fight or flight reflex triggered but isn't yet sure which one.

The woman chuckles. "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to startle you. I smelled blood and had to investigate. My name is Sofia" she says casually. "Here, let's drink together" she says, and walks over to the dazed girl pinned against the wall. Jessica eyes Sofia warily. Sofia takes her index finger, and runs it along the girl's chest, collecting some blood. She brings it to her lips, and tastes it, closing her eyes. "Mmmm, exquisite" Sofia moans, lifting the girl's wrist and biting in. The girl gasps. Jessica, her guard slightly lowered, is overpowered by her thirst. She returns to the girl's neck, drinking deeply. The two vampiresses drink in silence, until the girl expires.

Sofia

Jessica backs away, eyeing Sofia cautiously. "I thought that we were the only immortals in Rio" Sofia says, "where did you come from?"

Jessica wipes her mouth, but doesn't answer. Shit, I need to get out of here.

"You can tell Elizabeth that I'll never go back" Jessica spits, and turns to run.

"Erzsébet?" Sofia laughs, "now there's someone that I haven't thought about in a while!"

Jessica pauses, turning back to Sofia. "Elizabeth didn't send you?" She asks incredulously.

"No. I was a companion to 'Elizabeth' once upon a time, but we parted ways over a century ago. I take it you were turned by Elizabeth?" Sofia asks curiously.

Jessica nods. I had no idea there were other vampires, not under Elizabeth's spell Jessica thinks.

"And what shall I call you?" Sofia chuckles.

"Jessica"

"Well Jessica, it's nice to meet you!" Sofia walks to the stunned young vampiress and kisses her softly on the lips. "Welcome to Rio!"

"Thanks" Jessica says uncertainly.

"You should come meet my children, the other immortals in this city", Sofia says, extending her hand.
