Getting ready for Calabresi

The two laid together, embraced in each other's arms, exchanging the occasional kiss, right until Danielle's phone rang again. As she grabbed it, Spencer went off to the shower, grabbing his own phone to text Jim.

'change of plans Dani will be out for dinner tomorrow, can we do sunday?'

After a quick shower, Spencer went inside the bedroom and much to his disappointment, Dani was engaged in a long phone call. He wondered if he should bother getting dressed, and eventually decided to put his jeans on before heading downstairs for a snack. As he ate a hastily made sandwich, Jim sent hin a text that caused his phone to vibrate.

'sure Sunday 6 PM good?'

'should be'

'cool, we'll see you two then'

Spencer then finished his snack off and climbed up the stairs, hearing the shower flowing. He waited until Dani emerged from the shower with a towel wrapped around her body.

"Oh. Hey Spence."

"Who was that on the phone?"

"Just Andy thanking me?"

"Will he be there tomorrow?"

"No he's got work commitments."

"Fair enough. So what about tonight?"

"What about it?"

"Where would you like to go?"

"Hmmm, how about Calabresi?"

"Fine by me. You didn't happen to pack away your best dress?"

"Oh... whoops."

"Well we don't have to go out if you don't want to." Spencer winked at Dani.

"I think I can find a dress. You will need to put a shirt on though."

"You're not complaining."

"Hmm, I think I might save that for dessert back home."

"We're not having dessert out?"

Danielle giggled as she opened the door.

"Would you like some help in your search?"

"No I'll be fine Spence."

Spencer waited for what seemed like a century, until Danielle finally came out of her room, wearing a dark blue dress that left little to the imagination, and a silver necklace.

"What do you think?"

"Might be a little cold?"

"I'll bring a jacket. Now all I have to do is my makeup?"

"And by then we should be ready to go."

"I didn't take that long?"

"Uhhh... I think you did."

Danielle shrugged, before going back into the bathroom to do her makeup whilst Spencer grabbed the dress shirt he had brought just in case he did end up going somewhere fancy that night. Once Danielle was done, the two headed out to Calabresi for a somewhat early dinner that they were eager to finish, seeing as both were more interested in 'dessert' back home.
