What happens next?

Buffy -- er Willow --er "Willow" freaks out

It had seemed odd enough to Buffy when she was naked in her own body. But now that she was in the body of her best friend Willow, it seemed odder. Willow's body felt different. She wasn't fat but she was obviously more bottom-heavy than Buffy. Her breasts were bigger, too. At least they seemed bigger. Buffy wasn't exactly flat-chested and she certainly never got any complaints about her chest development from Angel but compared to Willow...

Willow was also taller than her by at least an inch. Which it made it seem a wonder that her old body would fit in Willow's clothes. Granted, her old body had gotten dressed in a hurry and --

HEY! Willow shaved. Not just her legs, which wasn't news to Buffy after all the gym classes they had taken together, but she also shaved those parts of her that Buffy usually didn't look at -- even when they were in the gym shower room. Buffy never would have believed that Willow was that type of girl but still --

"Buffy?" asked a familiar voice. "Are you okay?"

Buffy looked up to see Anya nervously looking at her. No, not Anya. Just Anya's body, which seemed to be occupied by someone who was not Anya.

"Willow?" she asked. "Is that you?"

"Well, it's certainly not Anya," said the woman in Anya's body. "Apparently I didn't really know that girl at all."

"Where did she go?"

"She took the artifact and ran out of here. Giles and Wesley ran after her but I don't think they got her yet. She's wearing clothes now so she's going to be a lot less noticeable than you were in that body."

"Wait!" said Buffy. "The woman in my body right now is wearing clothes?!"

"Yes," said Willow. "Apparently Giles' theory about the curse was wrong. You see, it wasn't really attached to your body, after all."

"Yes, thank you, Willow," said Buffy. "I already figured that part out. What worries me is what 'Anya' is going to do next."

"I wish I knew," said Willow.

Then, after a brief moment when Willow found herself muttering something under her breath, she said, "Wait a minute, Buffy. I think I do."
