Sick Day Part 3

After the meal, Danielle said "You know, I had bit of an idea?"

"Yeah?" Spencer said.

"How about I cook dinner tonight?"

"Sure."

Amy gives the two an exaggerated nod to which they both laugh. "It's settled then."

The three leave the restaurant and then head to the grocery store, where Spencer asked "So what do you plan on cooking?"

"How about I showed you how to cook lasagna like I did on Tuesday?"

"Does that sound good Amy?"

"Yeah."

At the grocery store, Spencer followed Dani around the shop whilst Amy snuck off to grab a tub of ice-cream. Once done, the three head back home. Danielle and Spencer head to the kitchen, where Spencer follows Danielle's instructions. Soon enough she had the kitchen smelling of a variety of spices, to which Spencer said "That smells great."

"Hopefully it tastes good too."

"I'm sure it will."

"Here, try it."

Spencer ate some of Dani's brew, which proves to taste as good as it smells. "Fantastic."

"Great."

"Seems pretty easy to do too?"

"So next time I'm here I can expect some tasty lasanga?"

"I guess." Spencer said with a hint of nervousness.

With the lasanga in the oven, the two decided to retire to the couch, where they watched a movie of Dani's choosing. Once it was over, the trio sat down at the dinning table. Despite the positive reception to Tuesday night's dinner, Dani did still look at Amy nervously as she too the first bite. "This is really good. Can't wait for you to move in."

Dani smiled. "Well, your Dad helped."

"A bit, but it was mainly Dani."

"Aww, that's sweet."

"And if I'm lucky enough, it shifts the responsibility to you too."

Dani slapped Spencer playfully before going back to their meal.

With Amy in bed, Spencer and Dani sat on the couch, where he said "Hey, I wanted to talk about something."

"What's on your mind?"

"Earlier today, when Amy said about you being pregnant, you said not yet?"

"And?"

"Well, I know it's early, but how do you feel about having kids?"

"Well early's what we do, right? It's only been a month and we've had first date sex, met each other's families and I've almost moved in. At this pace, we'll be married in January."

After a chuckle, Spencer said "For real though?"

"Well, I wouldn't mind it to be honest, although I know I'm cutting it fine."

"I understand. I just wanted to know."

"How about you? Be honest too, I know it's been a lot to take in."

"Oh, I'm fine with it to be honest. I mean we're both financially secure, and if things continue to go how they're going, I don't see any reason not too."

"So just a little down the road?"

"Yeah."

"So February?"

The two roar with laughter, before Dani said "You know, that is about two months of practice?"

"Better make the best of it."
