Sally whispered into Becky's ear. "Your dad drank a glass of the wine." The evil smile on Becky's face was ecstatic . "But he drank holy water beforehand. She *Sally nods downstairs* thinks that the blood in the wine will be destroyed by the holy water. He's next door with your Mom and your neighbors. Looks like they were wrong. That professor is here trying to find a permanent cure for you and your mom."

Becky had to hold back a snort of laughter. If they thought she would give up being a vampire they were dead wrong.

"I don't have a plan yet but this is our best chance to help convince the professor to change sides. Stay here for now. Once the professor has joined us we'll go check on your dad."

Thoughts of her dad being a vampire made Becky wet. "I'll stay up here and listen in. If there's a chance to help out, I'll come out and play."
